- Bar End Mirrors: The Best Option for Motorcycles?
Bar end mirrors are a good option for motorcycles because they offer a number of advantages over traditional mirrors, including:
Better visibility: Bar end mirrors are mounted further out on the handlebars, which gives you a wider field of view. This is important for safety, as it allows you to see more of what is happening behind you.
More aerodynamic: Bar end mirrors are smaller and more streamlined than traditional mirrors, which reduces wind resistance and improves fuel efficiency.
More stylish: Bar end mirrors give your motorcycle a more sleek and aggressive look.
If you are looking for the best mirrors for your motorcycle, these Oxford Horizon bar end mirrors are the way to go. In this video, I will explain the benefits in more detail.

Well on your recommendation I bought & fitted my Oxford Horizons last night, to my Z900 & I did about 200 miles around North Wales today, absolutely fantastic clear rear views from both sides, I fitted the two as it looked unbalanced with only one, I had many positive comments on the look of them etc & I think I’ve boosted Oxfords profits!
To complete my fit I nipped to my local bicycle shop & bought a couple of 9mm (£2 the pair) spacers & as the diameter was a little large I super glued them to the flat face of the mirror mount, they worked a treat, you can buy adaptors online for about £17+ ☹️I also put a little Loctite on the threads of the bolts so no movement.
The old mirror holes I plugged using the inners off 2 large plastic body trim clips or bungs just snipped the tips off.
Good luck everyone
Mirrors on bikes save lives, I'd specially put on the right side specially in this country, ive got rizoma radial sport mirrors and they've been on my last 3 bikes, they are anti glare, convex with quality and adjustability to suit anyone, regards Bray
Thanks for the comment. If you watch to the end past 9 minutes you'll see I fitted both in the end and still very happy. Excellent mirrors at a great price.

Nice
Hi mate, great review, love the look of these. I take it you haven’t had any problems with the ball joints becoming loose as some of the sportsbikeshop reviews have suggested?
That’s the only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger!
Cheers, Andrew
Hi Andrew, I haven't experienced the problem with loose ball joints. Maybe over a longer time period it might become an issue. I'll keep an eye on them.
Had the same bar end mirrors on for the past few months now. Got them from sportsbikeshop and the ball joints have now came loose on both sides. May need to go back to my stock mirrors now 😞
@@reecemccrory8046 you guys are getting me worried now! Thanks for commenting. If this is a common issue then Oxford need to tackle it themselves and make sure QC is resolved going forward.
@@reecemccrory8046 Cheers for the feedback Reece, maybe sportsbikeshop have some defective ones? Or there’s just a random bad batch dotted about everywhere🤷🏻♂️ maybe you got lucky @UpsideDownFork… or you’re just not going fast enough🤪
When I called Oxford to find out about them they just pointed me straight to sportsbikeshop, so there is potential for them to have faulty products, but I suppose it’s just your luck with them. Oxford do know about the issue though as they were quite quick to respond to it with the fact that there isn’t a way to remedy it. Hopefully you don’t have the same issue with your ones @UpsideDownFork
Do they come with multi fittings as I’ve got Kawasaki Z900?
How do you turn the mirror around from out of the box? Does it just turn? Mine are stiff as
Yes, stiff is good. Means they won't move with the wind.
Hi mate.
Loving the screen. Can you tell me where you got it please. Thanks
Screen is a Puig Sport 👍
@@UpsideDownFork Thank you. Most appreciated.
Love the look of them but at around £77 a pair, an expensive mistake if they do go wrong!
Can you teach me how to install it to my f900r
I'm afraid I don't have a F900R
Thanks. I hope someone can help me thanks
