Nice man I realize I got the SER5 PRO 2 weeks before the MAX came out. NO regrets it sounds like it's quieter - too bad I had to upgrade the to 32gb and 2tb. I like the 5700u or 5500u you meant for a small promax cluster in the future.
Due to an error on a big shopping site I got my 5800H for 240€... they really fast shut down this offer but I still got mine today... will replace an old Thinkpad E145 with really slow AMD A4 5000 CPU...
Thank you very much for the video. Between a Beelink 5800H (35W) and a 5500U (25W), will there be much difference in noise, in daily use that includes Netflix and TH-cam 4K, Outlook, Excel and uploading files to Dropbox?
just the video I needed. How about noise level? is there a significant difference between the 5500u and 5560u that would justify the 100€ price premium?
The only problem with the SER5 is when using a wireless mouse you have a limited range of 5 ft any more and the mouse is unusable. I think it's because this system has a lot of interference due to cheap electronics. I bough a HP Aero instead and i have no problem with my wireless mouse and have 15FT range
I’ve noticed this. I’m at a range less than 3 feet but it’s going through a desk and it’s awful. I had to use a usb extension cable to bring the mouse dongle to the top of my desk.
I have the same problem, my Logitech wireless setup will not work if I'm not sitting next to the receiver OR just use a usb-extension, these minipcs arent build into a metal case like real PCs to shield the RF interference...
I'm just about to order a Beelink AMD Ryzen7 5800H but you've worried me about the noise issue. If I'm using it mostly for TH-cam and catch up TV via various services, will the noise be heard that much? I suppose I'm really asking - is the fan on all the time or only when putting the computer under stress such as gaming? Sorry - I'm currently a Mac Mini guy and looking for something more modern to connect to my tv which is as quiet as my Mac.
thank you for the video! I think its a great gift for someone who maybe saving up for a big computer. But maybe will use it for work from home in the meanwhile! The specific model is up to how much you’re really into gaming. The 5800 is on sale for 350 right now. Pretty good competition against the 5600 for same price on amazon
For the last month I was shopping for a MINI PC on Amazon . But when I read the reviews for te BEELINK's I was taken aback as there are reports of motherboards being friend suddenly, andthat was the main dealbreaker for me. I went with the MINISFORUM and got one with the AMD RYZEN 7 4800H and it has 2 x USB 3.2, 2 x USB-C and 2 x USB 2.0, 32Gb RAM for just $279, I made sure to get the 3 yr warranty as well. I was shocked to see most of the MINI PC's aremostly have only USB 2.0 on them. USB 3.2 should be the minimum requirements on all of them and just get rid of USB 2.0 altogether
I went looking at all of Beelinks products after you mentioned the stats and the price point. It turns out you mixed up the 4800H with the 4800U. You think you bought a product that has a 1800 point increase in benchmarks (ten percent) as opposed to what you really bought. It also sells for 370 dollars when you claim you got it for 270. So
To reiterate: they sell a 2020 chip thats 10% slower and costs a hundred dollars more than what you said. I wasted my time looking for a deal that doesn't exist
outperforms? pretty much nothing. what gets you 95% of the performance is the SER7, UM780 XTX, and GMKtec with their K4 matches the 7940HS in the GTR, just not as good IO wise and the cooling system might not be as good. I have the K4 coming in so I'll know for sure but if raw performance is your main concern, anything with a 7840HS will be almost identical to a 7940HS system. the only diffrerence is a 100mhz boost on the CPU and the iGPU. this should be pretty much unnoticeable for most users.
Will this handle simple work? And can I add ram memory to some of these? I'm a senior that uses my computer for MS Office, TH-cam video watching, streaming media watching, very simple photography such as just minor fixes to my photos that I take. I read my email, read the news and just surf the web for news of all kinds. I would like to add a dvd/cd reader to copy my music and watch dvd movies. Yes, I actually buy music CDs and movie DVDs, lol. Can I connect a DVD player, say, to the pc you are holding? And can I work on photos and watch movies on this without a graphics card? I know that most CPU have built in graphics, are they strong enough for simple photography and movie watching both on TH-cam and DVD? Thank you. And the few games I play I've always done on a console, baby boomer here, LOL.
This will handle simple task with no issues. We used these at my work running many cpu intensive programs and it very rarely has any issues. This will do simple tasks like a breeze.
Don't buy Beelink! GS King X - Purchased via geekbuying. Two years ago. One was taken by my brother, the other by me. After two years, both boxes are short-circuited. Processor. Long live the king!

I bought the with 5560U. Because it has Zen 3 and its very silent. And it was only 270€ with 500/16 Gig. Very impressive this PC.
I have the 5560U and it's been running 24/7 non stop. Love that!
Does it run Gamecube games?
Is it silent
@@SRC267 it is quite silent. I rarely hear the fan running. Average CPU utilization is 90%, RAM usage 99%. Ambient temperature is around 25C.
I am watching this on an SER 5 5560U - amazing value and tiny form factor, attached to the back of my TV
I've been using a SER5 with a Coral m.2 TPU as a Frigate NVR for a few months now. Works great, barely 10% of it's resources are being used.
A simple comparison table for Beelink PC's would be very helpful. Trying to figure out which to buy is confusing. Their web site is no help.
I agree, Charts are the best
Amazon has some great coupons going on with this - including $120 off the SER 6 MAX
Nice man I realize I got the SER5 PRO 2 weeks before the MAX came out. NO regrets it sounds like it's quieter - too bad I had to upgrade the to 32gb and 2tb. I like the 5700u or 5500u you meant for a small promax cluster in the future.
Bro the 6800H with the 680M is like 50-80$ bucks more and its much faster and better
Should I wait for the next version or should I pull the trigger?
Due to an error on a big shopping site I got my 5800H for 240€... they really fast shut down this offer but I still got mine today... will replace an old Thinkpad E145 with really slow AMD A4 5000 CPU...

No
Thx for acknowledging the 5700U!
Which one do you pick for your retro pie replacement
just the video I needed. How about noise level? is there a significant difference between the 5500u and 5560u that would justify the 100€ price premium?
Thank you so much for this. I have a question. I'm a little new to Mini PC's. Is overheating a problem when playing games on a 5700H?

I have the SER5 MAX
IT plays my 4K movie files and Emulation up to PS3 . I've not tried ps4 Emulation yet
Its okay to gta v and csgo?
In emulation for PS3, GameCube, Dreamcast etc.....is the system fan noise loud? Does it rev up a lot??
Wondering where the 5700U (Beelink or Trigkey) would hit on the scores
Planning to buy one for PS, LR and Audition Pro. Any recommendarion
thank you for the video!

Which type is good for 3d design like SketchUp?
Does the trigkey have build issues? I keep seeing amazon reviews complaining about issues
This was a really helpful video. Thank you.
How much of a difference does an upgrade to 32 gb rsm make on these?
After the review did you eat these all at once or like one a week?

Nothing wrong with beelink mini pcs I have 5 5550us and none have fried.

that was the key item that changed my decision from them.
Secondly was that they didn't have enough USB 3.2 or better though

저는 오늘 알리익스프레스에서 라이젠7 5800H Mini PC를 $218 구매했습니다. 저는 이정도 성능 이상을 사용할 일이 없기때문에 너무 만족스럽습니다.
Will eGPU work with it?
yes.
Which should I buy if I want to play genshin on high quality?
