Many have said it, and I wholeheartedly agree; the original "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is the best. Between Boris Karloff's narration, as well a voicing the Grinch, and Thurl Ravenscroft's singing, you can't go wrong. Plus the fact that it follows Dr. Seuss' poetry far better than any other version.
You need to watch, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," narrated by Boris Karloff, made in 1960. It is the original, and certainly the best. I am sixty-three and it is, and always has been, one of my must watch programs at Christmas time every year.
@janetsanford6923 the old ones are the best. The stop animation ones.... Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. Frosty the snowman... Or was that cartoon? Oh well ..I watch them too.
The original How the Grinch Stole Christmas that was in 1969 was the best. It had Boris Karloff narrating, in Dr Seuss' rhyme scheme perfectly. Even the song was brilliant with the same voice actor that did Tony the Tiger.
Yes..I know times change and classic movies are re-made..But the original (in my opinion) is the best version, growing up it was one of the holiday movies that we watched every year and I carried this on with my step children after I wed a wonderful woman with three children
Please watch the original "How the Grinch stole Christmas' with the great British actor, Boris Karloff, voicing the Grinch. It is better than this cheap remake by a factor of 100. So much more charm and passion, with old school cell animation. The people who made it were positively inspired! My opinion, of course.
y'all need to watch the live action grinch with jim carrey! its hilarious! came out in 2000. and of course the original cartoon version from the 1960s!
I've never seen this version, was originally expecting the old classic from the 60's, but this bit I'm seeing looks pretty funny. 😂 Am now going to try and find it to buy.
I love reaction videos and never complain about the podcaster interrupting the video because it's fun to watch together and answer questions they may have!💗 But somebody has to take away the pause button away from James! We seriously are trying to watch it with you but he pauses or cuts every 3 seconds then skips! I was excited for this fun video! But Millie take that button away from him! I guarantee when you re watch what we see, you'll agree!💗🤔💗
YOU two have never watched Titanic I believe . And what about "It's a Wonderful life'. "White Christmas. '" and 'Miracle on 34th Street' the original and the remake. "Meet me in St. Louis'...so many good ones.
I still love the original from the 60s.
Yeah it’s wayyyyy better.

Yup! That show is older than me. I was born in 1961
I got you all beat, I was born in 1958 (yes that means I am 66 years old, lol) and I STILL watch all the animated Christmas shows! 😊🎄

That's the one I grew up watching.❤❤❤❤

For me, Nothing's better than the original Grinch TV animation from 1966. It's the one I Happily grew up on.🎄😊
The original from the 60’s is the best.
I prefer the original animated version from the 60's

I agree with the comments you need to watch the original one. It's the best
This isn't The Grinch, this is a remake.

Each version has its own unique take and is worth noting.
stop with that
And the original song...sung by Tony the Tiger (Thurl Ravenscroft)
This is not the Grinch. You need to Boris Karloff 1960s version
Yes, the Boris Karloff version is much much better.
Jim Carey is my fav
This grinch’s voice isn’t what it should be
A parental job is second childhood with your own child. I watched it with my 10-year-old daughter when it first came out ;-))
I've never seen this version, was originally expecting the old classic from the 60's, but this bit I'm seeing looks pretty funny. 😂 Am now going to try and find it to buy.
Well, the music playing throughout the video is a lot of classic songs. 😊
When i was little in the late 80's the grinch and cat in that terrified me i was 3 mind you

Now watch "Horton Hears a Who"... My name is Cindy Lu.. so I loved both movies as a kid.
I love your movie reacting
Oh. The Benedict Cumberbatch version. My younger sister is TERRIFIED of the Jim Carrey one.
That’s my favorite Grinch movie to date, more modern story that fits today better!
fits today better than what? the classic? no way - that's why it's a classic, it's timeless
If a bus drives in reverse do you call I a sub?
U guys are too cute!
Disappointed. Thought you were going to watch the original from the 1960's. 😢
Me too 😞
The original is the best. Jim Carrey did a good job as a live. This version is saccharine.
wait... you can now upload 30% of a movie to youtube and call it "fair use"?
Everyone in the comments is wrong and crazy 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Jim carrey version is the only good version
, the best one is the one with Jim Carrey
can live without this weak remake - the 1960's version is classic.
never understood why Benedict Cumberbatch is a thing
