China and India have far greater populations. If it were to come to it, India in my mind would no doubt ally with the USA and take not only their disputed border areas areas but much farther into the ccp territory. The CCP wants to rule as fascists race supremacists it will only get you so far.
If any other nation or even an alliance of multinations were to attack the USA, they would stand next to no chance.

Both Papa and Momma were of exactly the same mold! Papa was a Marine, Momma an Army Nurse (They met during the 'Nam conflict).
Of four children, I the only (And youngest) daughter, ALL of us were learning wrestling/grappling/take-down/pain compliance/etc. techniques from the time we could learn (With the ass-whuppin' COMMANDMENT we never, ever start a fight with anyone, else WE would suffer for it (Via Papa/Momma's wrath!)), and all of us are 'Expert' with small arms. Two of my three older brothers became a Marine, the third choose to join the Army (And we still give him grief over that one!), and I too became a Marine, though this is not what Papa wanted to see me do.
Part of any Parent's duty is to educate and teach their children what the real world is, and how to navigate and survive it.

My dad started target practice with my brother and me i think i was around 7. I have a great nephew that has been hunting since he was 5 or 6. Took down his first deer (buck) at 6 or 7. And has taken may down since in the past 2 or 3 years. My brother started teaching my niece how to handle a gun by age 5. Honestly it’s our kids that would be our best gunmen apart from out military because they would be unexpected. No one expects to be taken down by a 7 year old. Any time they say invading the west coast especially into the Seattle and Tacoma area in Washington to take over a deep water port have no idea why there is such a large military presence here and what they're protecting. You have to go decently far into the Puget Sound to get to Seattle and even further to Tacoma. All awhile you have to pass by multiple islands and hilltops along the shore that can easily be set up with a missile system for defense against oncoming enemy ships. There are old forts found in these exact spots to protect against this very scenario.
You have one of the largest Naval bases in the country protecting this area. The submarine force here carry about 1/3 of the U.S.'s entire actively deployed nukes (about 720 nukes). The USS Nimitz aircraft carrier with it's carrier strike group are based in this region. You have multiple Naval Air Stations in this area protecting the region. To top it off you have one of the largest Army bases where the 1st Special Forces are stationed combined with an Air Force base on the southern part of the Puget Sound area. The geography in this area gives a huge advantage to the U.S.. You have a very forested and mountainous terrain and fighting against the U.S. who know this area intimately.
So tell me again how invading and taking over the Seattle/Tacoma deep water ports will work? You have to fight a large military, veterans, pissed off locals having trouble getting their coffee because of an invader, terrain and likely all while in the rain. If they try, just remember, we're just a push of a button away to launch 720 nukes each capable of destroying a city and millions of people. Again, this is just from the military already there without reinforcements. Hope it never happens

  • @-KingOfKhaos
    @-KingOfKhaos 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

Just for folks reference: The US not only has multiple satellite layers for intelligence collection purposes, there are also multiple aircraft platforms that fly nearly continuously collecting intelligence as well… and also high altitude unmanned aerial aircraft platforms. The U.S. and Canada also both operate NORAD which detect any airborne air assets that don’t belong to the U.S., Canada or Mexico. Mexico, the U.S. and Canada also have mutual aid agreements for the protection of the entire North American continent… for which financial protections and benefits are provided for.
From a logistics standpoint alone, any invading force would be ground to a halt in short order. Invading forces would soon run short of food & fuel, mostly fuel, and would then run into a major quagmire with State National Guard units as well as the 150 Million or so armed American citizens.
In short, anyone thinking they can just “walk into” the U.S., would find a rather rude wake up call before they got within 15 miles of our borders.

West cost is more cliff than flat Beach then have to go up multiple massive mountain ranges and across a desert to begin getting to the rest of the country. You are both right and both wrong on Alaska and Russia. You cannot walk to the mainland anymore that was in the Bering strait, theorized to have a frozen bridge and how Native Americans got to North America well over 10,000 years ago. That strait does not freeze anymore but there is a couple of islands that occasionally get enough frozen water that one could technically walk from the US to Russia, though both islands are uninhabited. And she is right in that Russia to Alaska is closer than UK to France if you go from islands is only 2.4 miles, that's the place is sometimes possible to walk too. So much closer than UK is to France, mainland to mainland is 55 miles from Alaska to Russia so that is further than the channel which is 20 miles, Jersey is only 42 miles away, IDk if that would count though.

And yeah, we smashed the Brit’s flat in that fight. Leadership, tactics helped, but just the crazy level of fight is what won the day, everything else just made it better.

My grandpa was part of the force that retook atu, I’m half Alaskan native, he and my moms and uncles on their side all born in Sitka, Alaska and 100% Alaskan native, my grandpa went on to serve the rest of WWII, then in Korea, and one tour in Vietnam, early on, before being retired due to medical and age reasons as an E-9. He was loved by his men, and sadly ended up being hated for a time, by my grandma and mom, aunts and uncles, he was sadly a horrible alcoholic, being 100% native doesn’t help, anyone who knows, knows, but he also had horrendous PTSD, and could be very violent and brutual, after seeing and serving in 3 wars, in infantry. He used to be a good man, still was, but was not a nice man, at times, and our intolerance for alcohol doesn’t help at all. Probably doesn’t help, before WWII in the early stages of the Great Depression, in the territory of Alaska, him and his dad and grandparents used to hunt down Russians and Russian sympathizers and kill them, brutually, mainly by capturing them. Then hurting them up to their necks at low tide on the beach, and watching the tide come in on them. He seen that as a kid, multiple times. You think regular Americans hate Russia/soviets and communists, go find an old native, 80’s to 90’s in Alaska, and ask them about. You will learn a whole new level of hatred. For what they did to us, hint. It’s the same thing they do to Ukraine or anyone else they invade. My grandma was 5 years younger than him, and she lived a lot longer…her absolute hatred of Russians was a new level, my ancestors out hitler to shame with his hatred of the Russians, we just never had the power he had, if we had his economy and power…you’d all be reading about how Alaska’s genocideded russia. we are genetically descended frok the same people who genghis kahn came from. we just went east and south very early on. we share genes with mongolia, siberia and parts of china that border that area, but left and became our own thing. we were also the asshole viking types of natives in north America back in the day, that all tribes feared and hated on the west coast.

USA and logistics. No other country or people in history understand what it takes to move food, fuel, trucks, aircraft, tanks, weapons, ammunition and 1 plus million troops 4,000 miles east across the Atlantic Ocean from USA to Germany (while we were being shot at by their submarines and planes) and land them by boat! All the while simultaneously doing the same 4,000 miles west to Japan.
Also not to mention we simultaneously were sending "mass" quantities of food and military equipment to our great friends the Brits. We sent a huge amount to russia as well - but that was just to give Hitler a jab in his eye.

I read a fascinating book about the history of Barnum's and Bailey's Circus. When they toured through Europe during the 1930's, Hitler had spies taking notes about their ability to move huge amounts of people, equipment and materials. What they learned from the Americans helped them launch blitzkrieg.

Large megaton airbursts (used to flatten as much as possible) cause surprisingly little fallout. The bombs would have to be on the ground to disturb enough earth and eject the debris into the airstream. The Tzar Bomba (50 megatons) was the cleanest nuke ever detonated besides the test done in space, which had zero fallout.
