I'd love to see you review the Ridescoozy Torque 1. Its a thousand dollar ebike with a torque sensor, should be comparable to the ebikes in this video.
Hi! Is the rear rack for radmission and fenders compatible with the Rideal? I’m shipping to Canada and I want to lower the shipping cost when buying the Rideal. Rad offers free shipping. Would really appreciate if you spare your time check. Thanks a lot
I'd have to go with the Rideal. With the wider tires it's more at home with gravel, dirt type trails, not just pavement which is a plus. Also in this price range you'll be hard pressed to find a 48v battery coupled with a 750w motor... this is the meat and potatoes part I like. And also a 6 speed? Good luck finding any e-bike at this price point with those 3 things. Good power mixed with good range is what it's mostly about to me.
the size comparison was really helpful for me.I want sure wether I should buy the Radmission1 as a highstep or midstep and now I’m sure the highstep will fit me. Thumbs up from me!
Great Review!!! I have 3 of the 4 bikes you reviewed ( I do not own the K-30 Hurricane). When the dust cleared, my most favorite overall would have to be the Ariel Rideal also. My second most favorite is the Rad Mission because that is just one smooth great riding simple single gear bike.
I guess it depends on where you ride.lots of hills and long range you need or just a little shorter commute and want a simple low maintenance belt drive that look like a normal bike. Anyone can put a huge motor on and slap a big bulky battery strapped to the down tube. For me I’d get the stealthy ride one up roadster with the belt drive.
Great comparison! Thanks to your wife for showing a live example for shorter people and sharing her thoughts too. That’s greatly appreciated! I read that the Hurricane standover height was 32” and recommended for riders 5’6” minimum. I saw that your wife seemed to be able to be standover the Hurricane without needing to lean. Do you mind sharing what her inseam length is? I am 5’5” and have a 30” inseam with shoes on. I’ll be getting a KBO hurricane soon and was curious if your wife might just have long legs (or if mine are just short, lol). Thanks again for a thorough comparison of these ebikes!
Rad Mission will be my choice, I’m 5’4 and I don’t have a lot of big hills to climb plus single speed is an easy up keep for somebody like me, which rely on my nearest Spokes 😄 Thanks for another great review!
Great review and comparison. I think one thing to note is that the Ride1up and KBO are for a very different demographic than the Rad and AR. I see those two more so for people who love biking but due to age, health, or some other issue is unable to sustain long distance rides or the urban professional commuter. I’ve always viewed the Rad bikes as more utility with all the cargo accessories that the manufacturers sells. The AR is so expensive for what they did. For what it is you can build your own for around $600. It’s essentially a cheap $200 bike with a $400 Ebike conversion kit slapped onto it. 🤷🏻♂️
I agree with you regarding the 4 models. What do you think of the RadMission then? There are lots of similarities between that and the Rideal. I feel like it is still a compelling package at the price.
I’m surprised how well your wife fit on all of these bikes, especially the high-step Radmission and Ariel Rideal. I’m 5’9” with a 32” inseam and was worried the Rideal wouldn’t fit me well. I really didn’t want the mid-step. After seeing her on it maybe I would give it a try. I was just about to order the Radmission, as I figured I could handle the high-step…but really did want the extra power of the Ariel…just in a high-step. I have a Trek DS currently and it’s a pretty tall bike overall.
She's pretty comfortable on bikes these days (even while pregnant!). She still will choose the smaller bikes though when we're out riding. I have to imagine you'd be good on the Rideal since you're only 3 inches shorter than me. I also have a 32" inseam. You might not be able to get a suspension seatpost on it. I guess if we were personally able to choose again, the mid-step would have been better. My wife would be more comfortable and we like to share with friends :). Thanks for your comment Scott!
@@EbikeEscape I appreciate your response. I’m still trying to decide…there are almost too many choices. I have some wrist issues so I might avoid the Radmission and Rideal…been giving the Ride1UP 500 series and KBO Breeze hard second looks. I was also considering the Himiway Cruiser…now there’s a company called MAGICYCLE that has virtually a clone of the Himiway for hundreds less. My only concern is using a company without much of a track record and regretting it if we have issues (post-sale)
These E bikes are basically cheap internet bikes and don't hold a candle to some of the better, but more expensive E bikes. Like Trek, Specialized, and not to mention the German E bikes. However for the price these are not to bad even though I know owners of some of them and they are trying to find a shop capable of doing repairs.
Just be ready to wait for 2 weeks to a month if you order anything from Rad. Every single thing I've ordered from there has been a minimum of 2 weeks, and sometimes longer, which is absolutely ridiculous.
Very nice job as always, but you really have two apples and two oranges here. Direct comparisons between the Rideal/Rad and a separate comparison of the Ride1Up/KBO would be very helpful.
Thanks! Yes, I agree. The 3 bikes were single-speeds so people might be at least looking at them together, but it's pretty clear there are major differences. Appreciate the comment.
What's your favorite budget-priced electric bike?

Agreed, I'd love to test one out.

Just received my Ariel rideal bike! It is super fun to ride and it blows through the hills no problem!
Awesome! Glad to hear it. Enjoy!

How does Ariel Rider do it???? Blowing away the competition once again!!! Great vid.
Thanks, I continue to be impressed with the value they bring to the market.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts! You've got a nice fleet of ebikes
@@EbikeEscape Thank You Sir! I absolutely love riding ebikes. I love testing as comparing them as well.
Hi are still happy with your mission
@@bernievassallo3336 I absolutely still love it. It’s one of the best ebikes ever and it’s currently on sale for $499. That’s incredible!!!!
Excellent round up choices! I'm definitely going to share this video with friends shopping for $1000 ebikes.
Awesome, I really appreciate that.

Thanks for the comparison! I went ahead and purchased the Ride1Up Roadster V2!
Hope you enjoy it!

I haven't forgotten - we have to measure my wife's inseam! Thanks for the comment.
If you have an inseam of 32' or less get the Ariel Rider Rideal Midstep.
@@EbikeEscape I bought the high step and love it but I straddle the top tube when stationary. I am 5'9" with a 32" inseam.
Sounds like good advice!
Ariel Rider would be my choice, reasons would be bigger motor & battery and multi speed.
Good points!
Not available in Canada 🇨🇦 What’s taking so long.
Thank you for the comparisons!

Very nice for the price
It has to be hands down Ariel Rider Rideal . I mean it's literally a no brainer
It has to be hands down Ride1Up V2 . I mean it's literally a no brainer
@@doggyman1202 Yes that's what I meant Ride1up V2 is hands down a better bike but just only slightly
I have to imagine it will be a winner for Ariel Rider.
Great analysis!
Thanks for your comment!

There are no links in the description that I can see?
There should be. Are you on mobile or desktop?
@@EbikeEscape I see the links now! Thanks!!
One thing is to consider is test ride and return policies. Rideal is not good.
Can you share more from your experience to help others?
put the bike in same line as you have on link its too confusing

So, the Ride1Up failed because it didn't have disk brakes, and it was too big !! Yawn !!
It didn't fail, just different.
