I know it's been a year since this video. I just bought one today, 12/16/2024, and I had to hold the bottom button in while adjusting the new combo. Once I was done, I released the button, and it was set.

Thank you for your Video! We used it to open a much larger IKEA Bookcase that had sliding doors that covered up the book shelves. It was in a classroom. It had the same exact IKEA lock as this. We were able to use your method but it took us 20-30 minutes, we never got the nice "click" sound that you did. But we rewatched your video again and figured out that we were feeling for a divot on the round dial. Then we tried again and we cut the aluminum strip so that it had more of a sharp, pointed end. That allowed us to find the divots and get it open. After getting the IKEA cabinet open, we found a much easier method where you turn the dial and hold pressure on it and then rotate the tumblers and they fall right into place. Unfortunately like most every footwear manufacturer out there, they do not produce a wide enough boot.

My younger siblings put their squishmallows in the washer and dryer and they came out with lumpy stuffing.

Omg I love you for this. I was trying to figure out what tilting the handle down does, but you taught me instead that I could lock the chair at any angle and not just upright. Before I watched your video, I watched a tech enthusiast's video, and he totally missed this as he was complaining about the lack of back tilt resistance adjustment, which was one of my gripes as well.

in my case the "trick" was to use a pen instead of a sharp-key. I think the tip of the pen can go in further, unlike the tool.

Worked! I tried it with a thick piece of paper first, and then a piece of plastic I found -- both failed. Then I pounded a Waterloo can and cut a strip just like the video. I was in within 2 minutes. Just make sure the bottom of the piece you insert is flat. Mine was a little off and I found it 'clicking' on almost all the numbers. Once I cut it perfectly flat, it was smooth on 9/10 numbers and very clearly was catching on 1/10 of them. Bingo!

Just found one of these new at a thrift store for $45. They didn't know the code. We were able to figure it out with your video!! We used a thin ripped piece of cardboard instead of aluminum. Worked great.

How do you turn off “Double-sided” printing? The toggle is set to OFF but it does both sides anyway. Prints from my iPhone just fine. But the iMac, not good. Thanks!
