If you use crisco to fry the pumpkin pieces, how do you apply the crisco to the pumpkin pieces? Is it better to melt it first, or some other way? Its messy to just try to smear it onto the pieces.

Pumpkins doesn't taste like potatoes. They are a bit sweet. My granny used to make a sweet pie (similar to apple pie) or just bake pumpkin pieces in the oven.
Tried it but didn't like it, it's not like French fries it is very soft from the inside and the outside isn't crispy even though I broiled it until it slightly burned

After making a sweet potato pie for the first time, I think I actually like sweet potato treats more than pumpkin!
You should try the sweet potato pumpkin pie recipe, it’s best if both worlds and better than both by themselves in my opinion😇

Dust with cornflour or chickpea four. Much crispier
