With respect, Lord of the rings biggest fan is and shall forever be Sir Christopher Lee. Who picked up the books when they were published in the early 50s and read them (at least) once every year until he died in 2015. He was 32 in 1954 so he read the books 61 times in his life. He was also the only member of the production crew of the movies to have actually met the professor. They met in a pub in the Kate 50s called the Eagle and Child in Oxford.
@@timdeathly did you even read my comment? He: - met Tolkien - Was in the movies - And advised on the script because he knew it that well and couod literally quote massive chunks unprompted. How about you pop some Xanax and go play whatever shity FPS your mom got for you while the adults talk?
I was a hobbit child in LotR! So was my mum and best friend at the time. I used to live next door to stone street studios cos my dad works on all Peter Jackson films as a set painter, and I dated a guy who worked at Weta (they throw the best christmas parties!)
As a whistle player, the amount of breath needed was astonoshing to me too. Whistles can go up an octave, the first octave takes about as much breath as a soft exhale. The second octave comes when you actually put a little effort in blowing. (This sounds really wrong.)
Been playing whistle since I was 6 than irish flute and harp. Fun fact that no one is going to care about a lot of flute players actually can get a pain in their chest when swapping back to the whistle due to being used to blowing more air into flute.
To the people that are saying that he actually didnt cry, there are aliens in the andromeda galaxy that could see that tear, what are y'all talking about?!?!
And they lived happily ever after
And they were roommates

Completely agree, off topic but the minor spelling mistakes of late and in at the end made my brain lag for a solid minute lol
It's was the "I'm" instead of "in" for me.

The Shire is just one of those songs that awaken such feelings of joy. Atleast in me. Always makes me tear up a little

It’s giving memories back to the third grade with the instruments of pain aka recorders
Tin whistles are Irish people's equivalent to recorders lol
“Imagine crying to a theme” I say as I cry to the old school minecraft theme 😢
Yep, made me cry too. Well done. 🥲
The shire is one of my favourite music pieces ever. Brings back good memories of watching the movies with my grandad.
It seems you have connections to every big TH-camr
You deserve more attention

The best way to learn woodwinds, is to play by ear, and learn by heart.

I personally hate tin whistle because we are forced to play it in school
Really? We had to play recorder then I was a nerd and started playing clarinet which is kinda like a fancy tecorder
Same I actully liked it though. Eventually moved on to irish flute and then irish harp as well.
This video is very underrated
Its the tiny amount of breath that fucks me up, its realll hard to grasp until you try.
Anybody who went to primary school in Ireland has ptsd from these things
