Now you might be saying "why would you be interested in a top ten about 15 year old motorcycles", well me being the broke ass that I am will not be able to afford something newer than 2005 for the next 5 years so this help for those of us who are on a money constrained time capsule
you gotta love the old muscle bikes these new model muscle bikes arent any fun. i ride a 2006 gsx 600 as well 1994 hsx 750 still more fun than the newer

Yeah that's why I'm here, bikes without fairing just look better. I'm keeping my eye out for the slightly newer sv1000n which came out after this programme was made but has the amazing 100+ hp v-twin engine. Also just found out Yamaha made an mt years ago which had a crazy 1700 engine, called the mt-01, torque beast!
I love older bikes. I like my old MTS 1000S over the new ones. In the States its funny I've never heard of a Bulldog. I guess I'm not missing much though.
a rider should prefer a 1300 with 100hp over a screeching 600cc delivering the same figures, which one do you think will withstand the test of time ? these older bikes were made to last. gotta love their looks too.
I have ridden the Suzuki GSX 1400 for 17 years, so I know my way around it. Tip 1. remove the original 4 into 2 factory exhaust system ( 22 kg's) and fit complete stainless Yoshi system ( 7.5 kg's) The seat of the pants feel is like throwing away a pair of saddlebags full of bricks.... Tip 2. fit a K & N air filter. Tip 3. have the GSX Dynotuned to fix up the lean fuel mix brought on by the Yoshi system and the K & N filter. The results are excellent, the original bike Dyno's at 95 hp, and the new setup makes 125hp at the wheel. This result is not so much how brilliant the K & N filter plus the Yoshimura exhaust system is, I think it highlights how choked up and muffled the factory system is.
Wayne Smith I had a 2002 GSX1400 with an Akropovic, K and N, Techlusion ecu and TTS fitted a set of fast road cams (based on the GSXR750 I think) gave it 136 bhp at the wheel and loads of extra torque. I also fitted a 1 tooth smaller gearbox sprocket.
The end result was very very quick on acceleration and I never maxed it out at top end but 160 sitting up with a pillion with a bit more to come.
Beat more than the odd plastic rocket in a straight line including a tl1000r when I was 2 up.
Sadly a blind idiot pulled out on me and wrote it off I would love another.
Only complaint was Suzuki’s have a poor finish
I wish they would bring back a show like this in the UK, it seems like we're starting to get stuck in an endless routine of storage hunters and other rubbish.

The GSX1400 wins hands down, You could dribble along at 30mph in top and throttle it back to 150mph, probably more if you could hang on, loved mine.
Suzuki GSX 1400 is the biggest in-line four engine classic muscle bike!!!A great bike for the big boys))) But just on the 2-nd place:(

I love my 2003 ZRX1200R !!! 47,000miles and still going strong.
I got my first 1200s bandit, and came up to a guy on a V-MAX with his girlfriend on the back. My friend I was riding with told me "DON'T DO IT". But stupid me, I thought the bandit could do it. Not a chance, he smoked me, even with a passenger. The bandit is scary fast, but the the V-MAX has warp drive....lol
I love this channel if only for what a blast from the past it is...not just the bikes being shown but the production style/quality of the show really takes me back.

There was only ever going to be one winner here. ZRX ... best bike Kawasaki ever made. Prices are going through the roof right now which reflects how well loved they are. Come on Kawa, get an updated ZRX into your range.
Amen to that! I Just bought a 2000 ZRX 1100 for a really great price and I love it!
At the dealership I worked at we did a zx1100 cam carb up grade to my zrx 1100, it pulled 163 hp on the dyno it was really crazy fast, also added a full muzzle exhaust made my zrx1200 seem like a slug they are still great rides, they still make me smile just starting them . Zrx will keep you young at 70 I still can't get enough.
So the "panalist":
Hated the Buell Firebolt with negative comments = 76%
Loved the Bandit with positive comments = 77%

Having owned four Triumph Triples between ST/RS/Speedies the comment "rides a bit rough at low speed but does it really matter...." Well it kinda does. The minute I rode a Multistrada with Ohlins it mattered a ton. So that's what I ride now. Would certainly consider a 675 for a track bike or for a quick road blast on a Sunday morning though!

I went for the badit 1200 2005 seems how I am a huligon but i dont rate the back brake so i am going to try a good ridge hose on it
I love my rex its got nearly 100k on the click and its looking rough but my god it just keeps on going.

I owned and rode a 93 V-Max for about 3 years, and I didn't think that it handled that bad.
I've ridden a 1200 bandit. It's gutless. Mind you, I'm comparing it to my 1985 Vmax 😄

To the statement Vmax can't corner is a lie you just either have to have the balls to do or just ignorant I owned 1 and took it on the tail of the dragon and was keeping up with sport bikes, by for the scariest thing I ever decided to do and the most fun

the vmax doesnt handle as well as some but it isnt as bad as they make out, its a muscle bike for christ sake it takes big balls to corner on it but its fun
oh the things i would do for Kawasaki to bring back the ZRX

I'm looking at the KTM 640 or 660 smc at the moment, never ridden a supermoto before so i'll probably end up dropping it :p But yeah my current bike is a ZRX such a good bike :D Maybe a smaller CC supermoto might be more sensible? How do you find the FZ1? It's a bike that kind of passed me by, mainly because i didn't like the Fazer that came before it :( also, just checked your channel, the 'thankyou' video, you seem like a genuine decent guy, you got a new sub :p

The Triumph looks like a Grasshopper from Ants, with Wheels. It's funny the other bikes were criticized for ugly, but this is it... ugliest of the bunch.

Get a naked, any naked bike and enjoy yourself. Naked's are about enjoying the scenery and roads at near legal speeds. Back roads are where you need to go. Avoid A roads. I've converted over from many sports bikes. I'm done with racing lines and chasing the vanishing point.

gsx 1400 has not too much engine braking...??wtf??mine has few times slipped even in 4th gear ,with throttle down.you must be very careful with throttle in curves.and throttle response is not too entusiast?ride it at 2000 rpm,whatever gear you want,just tiny twist, goes like hell.oh ,yes,and it is one of the most reliable bikes you can buy..

+Stefan Schreiber Sadly they replaced the honda X11 with the 900 Hornet, I've had both and am now on my second X 11, the X 11 will destroy a 900 Hornet in every department, I happen to love the looks of the X 11
