Im still Not so Sure about IT. Most Mini Games in other ff we're a pain in the ass

Is it possible to have TOO many good things in a game?
Because it looks like this'll be a 100+ hour save file, easily!
Its indeed predicted the game is up to (or over) 100 hours to do everything for a single playthrough (but much more on continuing to NG+/Hard), where Remake was over 50 hours (over 75 if continuing to NG+ Hard mode and achievements).
Its up to twice the game, depending on how you look at it.
Remake's main story was 30something hours, Rebirth's will be 'only' 10-20ish hours longer (but unknown how much of that is from mandatory roaming 'filler'). Rebirth just has even more optional stuff to do, world exploration, things to chase.
What’s insane is that ff16 was already a damn good game, IMO. But it seems like square had their *B Team* working on that game, while their A team was working on Rebirth. Fucking insane
WHAT they brought gilgamesh in FF7 ? Also the temple of the ancients looks really cool, just like the rest. It's gonna be awesome.

If they really want to invest the resources into this and the next game, both Red and Cait Sith could become my favorites, knowing the original stories but also easily speculating on how that could become much more today.

•Likely plays great
Negatives:
•500 points of interest icons on the map regurgitating the same three activities on a loop; Fetch me an object or a series of objects, escort something, kill something.
•Is running for 20 minutes to reach a reactor or any other location of interest, enjoyable or a waste of time?
•Pull the valve please, by following the arrow. Always follow the quest arrow, holding the player's hand. Older FF games didn't need a quest arrow. This is a mmo/assassin's creed/Witcher 3, braindead cave man gamer relic.
I'm still open minded about the storytelling, but multiple dimensions, witty one liners and action poses every other second makes it seem an awful lot like avengers endgame the movie. Are we about to experience an anime marvel movie/game?

I'm telling you right now Aerith giving Cloud the white materia it's going to lead to something freaking amazing. Sephiroth telling Zach "not you" is also separoth knowing that Zack shouldn't be there.

It annoys me that this game will probably "only" sell like 5 million copies. Some will think they need to play remake first, some were not super interested in Remake and Final Fantasy has just had a lot of less impressive games (13, 15,16). THIS looks like the comeback of the century so I hope that loads of people pick it up and relive the joy of what once were. And now is here again.
Yeah. This is what Square should had been for the last 15 years or so. Bold, doing their own things, a unapologetic japanese studio. Not FF15 or 16 direction, but this one.

Imagine we're getting this game for a "normal" price. It feels like we're going to rip off square enix after this. And imagine when buying another game in the future for full price, and feel we're getting ripped off because it's less of game than Rebirth...

It's pretty weird that as far as the trailer goes, they mark the "exclusivity" only to April and not a whole 12 month cycle. There is a chance you'll may be playing this game on PC way sooner than expected.

Remake exclusivity period ended six months before a PC version was released, and Xbox is, maybe, getting a port 4 years after.

I bought a PS5 just for Bloodborne, but now I have a few more games on it including FF7 Remake, just finished it few days ago for the first time ever.. now I can't wait for rebirth

The map obviously looks like it was shifted and what is kind weird to me and I might be wrong but I thought that Junon Cannon was built to literally point that big ass gun at Wutai. If you look on the map shown Junon is way down south and facing south west. Maybe it's the curvature of the world that makes it location work but it seemed kinda weird to me unless they are relocating Wutai's position on the map.
the sister ray was Shinras major defense project and was completed near the end of the wutai conflict. It wasnt aimed at anything in particular. It was there to prevent or repel an attack on Junon. If Junon fell they would have been in serious trouble. It was Shinras largest airbase and a major port for Shinra as well as the HQ of vice president Rufus. one shot from the cannon would have obliterated an entire naval fleet
* but in the OG game when its moved to Midgar its supposed to be aimed at northern crater and is way off so they did goof on it there

Damn Aerith dies afterall. Kinda spoilery trailer. They could have done a different last shot but showing an upset cloud fighting Sephiroth with no Aerith in the party sold me on what happens. Seems alive in Zacks timeline though.

That's from when Aerith left the party but, likely, before she dies. And we see Cloud try to block the killing stab. So they're still just teasing it, as they usually do.

Aerith is killed and enters the lifestream to meet Zack. :) We follow their journey in the 3rd game and they help the main party.
