So interesting to see people having trouble with different screens and solving puzzles a different way than you did! I shockingly didn't rage too hard at 3b but oh my god the golden ridge b side almost made me stop playing entirely
same I find it fascinating how different peoples playstyles are that influence difficulty. I don't remember my deaths on b sides rn, but 4c I got 116 deaths, 6c I only had around 160, but 5c I had over 1100
Yeah, just like on classic cassette tapes from the early 90's, if you're flip the "B-side" over and play them, you get even more songs on the C-side, since they had been printed on real 4 dimensional objects instead of digital computer files.

Most people are; but it's exceedingly charming and encouraging, and the Assist mode is basically a customizable difficulty setting. Deaths rarely feel unfair or very punishing, and you can often measurably see your personal improvement even as you struggle.
Is it bad that by the time I was doing (and also completing) Farewell, I was completely impervious to rage? Like.. I feel like I should've been raging at it, but all I was thinking was "That's progress!" and "I can do this!". The B-Sides have prepared me well.
I finally played this game, and...uh...I'm a little bit embarrassed but also impressed that I somehow managed to get exactly 2000 deaths on my playthrough. 😬😬
The music is a big part for me, and even though I've never played anything like it, the art of the area looked like something I would've grown up playing. Idk if that made any sense

hello there, Therm! heres my little tutorial step 1: jump in the air step 2: dash diagonally into the ground when you are in the air step 3: IMMEDIATELY jump once you dash into le ground step 4: you should get your dash back and get a good boost, if not, then you started too low/high from le ground, don't stress about it happy wavedashing! I swear I watched a three and a half hour Celeste video about Therm going back and pretty much completely finishing the game (except for the core) Like, even though in that last celeste video he went through and collected the last of the strawberries, he's going back and getting strawberries again here??? Why do you seem to have choke syndrome? you repeatedly pass the objectively hardest part of the room, and then die to something trivial. you do this even when you're not yet aware what part of the room is the hardest.
I have NEVER played a platformer before I bought Celeste 2 weeks ago and now I'm utterly obsessed. There's a super cool assist mode feature if you're interested in it! :D really helped me get the hang of things and now I really enjoy it. It's always up to you tho ofc
