This isn't the first time I've thought a band sounded way better on these live KEXP sessions than they do on their actual studio albums. This song in particular really benefits from real drums (and a kick-ass drummer) and crunchier guitar.
Been listening to these guys since high school and their music always gets my blood flowing. SWEET75 kicks even more ass live! Especially with those solid drums.
Man Ive loved this song since I first heard it and was hooked, but i gotta say I had high hopes going into this video knowing they killed it live but hoooooly shit, this is next level, upper echelon, ss+ tier, m-m-m-monster kill level types of good. /insert Waynes World 'we're not worthy' gif here
Amazing performance, and the drummer is talented AF. He deserves serious cred for the live performance. The drums here have far more depth than the studio version. All-around outstanding either way.
So bummed their tour was rescheduled BUT at least we got some summer fun with Sleigh Bells 💕can’t wait!! This sounds soooo good! I love when they have a live drummer.

The drummer is Chris Maggio. He's toured with High On Fire and played in few metal bands. He's also played in several collab covers with the Two Minutes To Late Night guys. The dude is amazing.
love the amount of focus the drummer has. Backup singer/keyboardist also kills it, they fit right into the live show
I'm ashamed to admit how many times I listened to this today
so true
No shame in that!
NEVER FEEL ASHAMED
don't be.
It's infectious!
The new album is great. Sleigh Bells are one of the most original and consistent talents in modern music.
Sleigh Bells are underestimated
i think i've listened to this about 30-40 times so far. and it's still as fun now as when i first found it. also, KEXP has the best sound engineers

This is a really experimental and edgy side of music, honestly so well done
This song is... It's pop with elements of metal, electronica... It's a really weird mashup! They pull it off though.
The sound engineers at KEXP are phenomenal...

The mix is absolutely dope. (I haven't felt a vibe as strong as when Dub Step caught on 10 years ago. )

Oh God! Thank you KEXP for consistent diversity in my playlist.

Blessings from Toronto.

F***ing Fantastic!
first double bass drum pedal ever on the kexp studios
I think Baptists played it before, worth checking out
There should be so much more double bass in pop music
The drummer is Chris Maggio. He's toured with High On Fire and played in few metal bands. He's also played in several collab covers with the Two Minutes To Late Night guys. The dude is amazing.
LOVE
Wild!
AMO ESTO NO HAY REMATE
Are they playing music at 7 am? If so hopefully coffee before and after; and a celebration after for great art.
Badass
Is that lady hosting the show the same one that played the landlady on the movie Kingpin?
Chuck Berry released Sweet Little Sixteen in 1962.
someone 16 in 1962 would be 75 in 2021.
Just sayin
Hold on is that Kate Steinberg from that Carly Rae Jepsen song Adam Neely did??
This drummer is absolutely insane. I saw them live but unfortunately he wasn’t with them
Ace
😯😯😯💚💛❤️😻
Wait... this is not Eric Andre/Hannibal band
heard them in the movie bling ring
Haha
H.A.F.
They softened up
Still love their debut album, but this isn't close to that level.
