This sounds like a wonderful, technologically advanced solution suitable for developed markets and economies. However, we must urgently implement mechanical and manual recycling operations in regions heavily impacted by discarded clothing and footwear from the West.

How much heat? I am wondering about this causing clothes to have an even shorter lifespan because of the washing/drying habits of most consumers. Will drying an item on high heat regularly with this thread cause it to disconnect? Realistically, this is how a lot of people dry their clothes and I'm concerned on how helpful this can really be if it risks disassembly before someone is ready to be done with an article of clothing.
Also, high heat is used for various things across the industry before reaching consumers so if, for example, printing and heat pressing a t-shirt to prepare it for sale in retail will cause the stitches to disappear, unfortunately this might be counter productive.
