Every few days I used to go for lunch to a place that had excellent Korean food. Used to get pork dolsot bibimbap with an egg, and tossed on some gochujang on it. Hot and steaming on a cold day. Hit the spot. Stopped going when covid hit, and haven't really had the chance to go back as much as I used to go. Excellent video!!! Korean food is great!
Korean dishes are the best thing for this time of year and this climate (not much different in Korea, just a little bit colder). All those dishes are great, especially the dumplings for starters. And, btw, it's Bi Bim Bap, for that one, not Bi Bi Bop. How come, a lot of the times you're in these places, there's no other customers there? Much for fun with a crowd scarfin' down that food.

That's not true. There's American healthy and filling foods and there's no such thing as a perfect diet. Consuming to much hard digestible foods will give you problems over time.

Just a small correction JL that banchan is not an appetizer, but side dishes. They bring them out early because they are already made. I am with you in that the seafood pancake (haemul jeon) is my favourite. I recommend you try the chive and or kimchi pancake also. I know you are not a real drinker, but makgeolli (Korean fermented rice wine) pairs perfectly with pancakes. Thank you for supporting Korean cuisine.
That looked good JL but my spot is Dolsot House in Cherry Hill. You been there yet? Everything there is on another level. The wings are the best wings (any wings) in SJ and it's not close.
I love beef beating Bop when I was in Korea I got introduced to the fried chicken and for me crunchy flavor with no sauce what's the best my friends would try to make me put ketchup and this and that on it you can see me running saying no they're trying to kill my chicken eating fresh crunchy chicken with no sauce I promise you you've never had better chicken
What an improvement with Korean food since 1988. I remember watching a news on channel 7 here in DC and they showed a "dog" market where people buy dog meat for daily consumption.
