Nice! Do you know if there have been any improvements made to the VR port, like maybe in terms of head tracking or something? I tried it with the reverb g2 in decemeber and got bad motion sickness from it even though racing games in VR didn't cause that issue for me.
I never had problems with headtracking! I dial everything down to achieve steady 45fps and force reprojection on. I run on newest win version 21h1 and Nvidia driver 471.11 - seems to be a bit smoother than before! To my understanding, the VR port is still in BETA and updated by one scs coworker in his spare time. So i guess we have to wait for official support or ETS3 to see some large improvements. I find it that immersive though, that i can‘t really go back to pancake mode🤷♂️
@@TheLanngillap Hmm, interesting. I was completely new to VR when I tried it so maybe I could get used to it with time. I figured something was probably slightly off with the VR port, since much more hectic racing games didn't cause motion sickness. I'll play around a bit more with the settings too, thanks!
Thats difficult to say! In triple screen setup (7680x1440) i get around 75ish fps depending on the city, freight and mod.. In single 2560x1440 i havn‘t really tested it, but i bet they will be around 100fps with everything maxed out!
I had some crashes in the beginning, due to some incompatible mods, once i cleared my MOD folder and forced the savegame to load despite of missing mods, all was well! I am currently reinstalling the mods as they get adapted to 1.40. With JazzyCats real traffic, i have some missing textures and hard red light issues, but it runs stable nonetheless.
Finally somebody with correct mirrors

How many FPS do you get when playing in regular 2D?

@@TheLanngillap Oh ok, thanks!
Have you had any crashes since 1.40 VR update? I cant play for more than 10 mins now without crashing. 1.39 was 100% stable for me.

@@TheLanngillap Thanks for the tip! I only have BDF tandem mod now so I guess its the culprit.
