I used to live in Georgia. I'm a southern Ohio gal. Going down into The South is like going back in time. Yeah Georgia is that backward. I love so much about the state, but I'm too progressive for the majority of Georgians. I was raised to be a real person. I can't do fake nice. I'm not implying that we don't have them up here, we sure do. The only difference is that they're not the majority up here and we don't all bow to the church up here. I'm not even going to go into the racism. Nope I met a lot of good people down there, but they're definitely the minority. It's sad. Such a beautiful area and most people will never see it because they can't deal with the ignorance and meanness.

When I was 14th, 45 years ago, my guitar teacher always told me "Keep that f....g thumb down!!!!". But I've always used it in this way, for playing the bass on the 6th string. And now I can say at him: "Keep YOUR f.....g thumb down and stick it into your back" 😀 Thanks for the very useful tips on finger picking, and thanks for the many many hours with me listening for your great interpretations of great never ending music!!!
