Even though, as a lifelong musician I will never have the ability to play at this level, I’m incredibly blessed to be able to appreciate and understand the beauty, soul, and musicianship that’s going on here. On a more practical level, how do they keep from increasing the tempo, while playing those incredibly fast licks. Just WOW! 👍😎❤️
This performance is a masterclass in how to make pentatonic and blues riffs work with gypsy jazz. I'd be dumb not to transcribe this entire performance.

I'm not that familiar with the strings that gypsy jazz players use. Are they easy to bend and use vibrato on, more so than say acoustic light strings? I can barely bend acoustic strings, light gauge. Do they have a metal core or is it a nylon core. Thanks.
