Nice to hear someone who's obviously so enthusiastic about Nantwich ;)

Great video, as a recent resident of nantwich I'm extremely interested in its history. Could someone please explain the term 'Dabber'?

Hi Chris, it is a local term for somebody who was born in the town itself.

My 4 x great grandparents were living there, She was a shoe binder and he a blacksmith, both of romany blood. Surname Lea or lear.

add to that a lack of dates, details, historical time line and photos (enclosed railway bridge) which I didn't think were in nantwich ! Vague Mutterings might be a better title !

I can assure you the view is of Nantwich station looking towards Crewe, the train being a local stopping all stations to Shrewsbury. The enclosed footbridge was taken down sometime in the 1960s
