We've nearly completed the full peloton of bus tours in 2014, so Matt Stephens went off to have a look around the Lampre-Merida team bus.
Italian style is evident throughout the bus from the fully tiled bathrooms to the red leather sofas.
As you'd expect there's a full stock of coffee, energy food and other essentials. Matt was particularly taken by the hairdryers, tempered glass and the sunglasses drawer...

Matt is getting more at home with each bus he shows us around, I'm surprised he didn't cook up some pasta while he was there! Love the vids guys.
Too sweet!!! Those Italians know the finer things in life!!!
This is much better than the team sky bus!
I love your pronunciation Matt: "Vuelta A Spanner". Class.
Too sad, I was starting to think about making an "Matt saying space" Compilation... but in this episode I counted just two times Matt saying "space". You have too keep up guys, in case you want this kind of compilation! :P
Great insights again, didn't expect such a beautiful bus to be honest. Love it!
Thanks Lennart Blom - I'm sure you'll have more material for the compilation soon enough.
Best bus tour yet...Matt on top form!!! Keep it up fellas. Best Channel on TH-cam by miles.
Great Video
Keep Matt doing these hes sarcastic comedy is the best......
Wow! A bit unexpected but just splendid! One of the best interior designs I've ever seen. Just slightly mean hairdryer joke at the end ;)
That's massive so want to go on that!
Great video, awesome bus. As always!
I wonder if the riders ever look at GCN's tour videos and have a private giggle. Matt is so cheeky!
Nicest bus so far....
the exterior for this bus is nice and the interior has a feeling of luxury....But overall i think all the teams buses are nice...
The best bus :)
Gorgeous bus! Best, I've seen, despite the outside lol
You guys are funny and have been making great videos lately, keep it up!!!
Nicest bus...... So far:-)
Best bus
Bet ya those 'hairdryers' were on cold ! ;) #spain BTW is it only me that thinks that the colour of those sofas were quite 70's ?
GCN is this the best team bus you guys have been on ?
Joseph Bourne Matt was certainly very taken by the tiling.
Did Matt shart at 2:11?? Dirty bugger haha
Oh, "the" is not misspelled "tea" but rather the Italian equivalent!
Wasn't expected that
I could live there
Nice
Seats look a little cramped for a long range transfer. Other than that though, this is my favorite team bus yet.
I don't think Chris Horner needs a hair dryer...
+Logan Roy haha good one!
thats the whole point idiot
no vnm he's just jkjking ok???
no vnm Bit offensive, chill out Mr Angry head
03:12 it is soo noice
Matt must have glued his wig on very well..
At 2:22 you say they're the only Italian world tour team... obviously Cannondale are as well. Otherwise a fun walkthrough.
Its registered in the US
Sam Boofle

Only Italian World Tour Team? Cannondale is also from Italie.
Cannondale is not registered in Italy. It's registered in the USA.
efraim shaw No, it's registered in italy Brixia sport SPA
Is this bus Italian by any chance?
E di puzzato now toccare?
Isn't it written "Do not touch" in italian over the champagne bottles?
yeah it's "do not touch, Pozzato's property"
What do you call those push buttons thingnies at 1:36?
blutch222 umm.... 'push button thingies'?
Almost spot on. They are called pop-out latches and can be found at marine hardware stores.
Global Cycling Network I call them nipples
i like to see aswell outside bus carroserie...if yu mind
This guys shows more than he should and takes and opens things that is not appropriate...
What you think Salice are upset with their glasses getting 15k+ views? - get a life...
Of course this is approved, Matt is a true English gentleman.
I feel for David Millar. Has had a difficult last season and it's clear it's not the way he wanted to bow out of the sport. You can tell on his face, he is a sad man.
Whats up with cyclists drinking coffee/caffeine is it really that helpful? Would tea have the same effect as that has caffeine in it too. Friend of mine brought it up lately too.
from a performance standpoint caffeine in suppleent form is better since in coffee there seems to be a substance(s) counteracting the caffeine. I think 80mg/h are usually recommended during races, but dont take my word for it not too sure about the dose
My ethnic background, Italian. Aren't we great at design, speed, skinny little ties & sunglasses at night? & oh..bad infrastructure.
Matt has really nice legs lol
There goes Matt again stealing coffee and caps from pro cycling team buses.
I think i like sky's better STILL
very rude to eat other people food without permission
