Thanks for the cool video. I am planning my trip from Lisbon. Couple of quick questions. 1- What was the border crossing to Spain like? How long did it take and what documents do you normally need? 2- Do all the buses have the same route to Svilla? Like Flixbus, Rede etc? 3- What is the name of the station where you took the bus from and was it direct or did you change buses in between?
in theory both potugal and spain are shengen area, so no border controle the bus to sevilla goes through Faro south portugal, the madrid bus does not flixbus goes from lisbon oriente with direct busses to Madrid/Sevilla
Can someone please tell me how long exactly does it take to get on bus to Madrid from Lisbon’s . I keep hearing different answers, trying to figure out if it’s better to just take a plane ✈️.
Did this journey and there's definitely some confusion at the Lisbon bus station. There's no departures monitors to let you know where to find your bus. You basically have to just walk up to each flix bus and check them. Mine was in concourse D and it wasn't super difficult but definitely not the easiest especially if it's your first time at the station. I would also highly recommend headphones or earplugs. On our bus there was a guy blasting music out loud unfortunately but easy to ignore with headphones. Safe travels to everyone!
I had similar experience at Barcelona, there were no monitors to find your Bus location. We had to individually check up the buses. It was quite stressful since we had only few minutes until departure for our flixbus to France
Can i travel poland to Portugal sr ..if yes please what document i have to show border crossing time and what about lagged bag..may i curry ..thank you
Flix bus is very. nice. I took it from Lisoa to Guarda Portugal. Very nice service. BUT!!! I was shocked that passengers were all expected to ride the entire 3 hours 50 minutes with no toilet breaks. That is inhumane. It was particularly bad on the trip "to" my destination since I had no idea that this would be the case On the way back I at least had the fore knowledge of this problem.
sir hope you are doing great I wanna ask about the ticket price..from lisbonne to Paris and where I can buy it .. online! and if they check between France and Espagne ... thank you and stay safe
Would not recommend taking FlixBus from Lisbon's Oriente Station to Seville, Spain, as I did in April, 2024. As this video mentions, it's not easy to tell which bus is bound for which destination, as FlixBus signage at the station is very poor. When another person and I asked the FlixBus worker at the front door of the bus if we should check in with him, he wouldn't even look at us. We had to find another worker to confirm. Also, one of the drivers of the bus was too aggressive, running a stop sign, having to slam on the brakes to avoid a car whose speed he evidently misjudged when entering a traffic circle and having to swerve to another lane on the highway to avoid traffic that had slowed. There also was not any advance info about stops - we had a few stops but none long enough for more than picking up a snack and going to the restroom. I would try a different bus company next time.
30 hours on a bus would be quite hard. It depends on budget and time. If you have lots of time and want the cheapest option yes. Flights are really cheap though, so I would go with a plane myself
Flixbus is stealing from people and you would think that I am someone who is mad at flixbus which is true haha but I have proofs and I am not the only one do your research you will a lot of people going through the same thing
This is actually really cool way to see other parts of a country that you wouldn't normally see as a tourist! Great video 🔥
Felt like I just finished watching a movie, great quality and relaxing!
Beautiful awesome time to relax and enjoy the golden age of the song and guitar chords for the update on fire
Nice Vlog! I am taking this route in October. I can't wait.
Very nice video, relaxing and informative. Music selections are good too.
There are many flights from Lisbon to Madrid that are 7-11x quicker (1h20 compared to 7h30 or 11h25) and are less than 20€
Increíble..un viaje de 8 horas...asientos duros..y no de cama
Love the background music
Looks like you were lucky and had a ride with a quite modern FlixBus. I already had trips with older bus models... not the best experience.
shola saben si salen bus de aeropueto barajas o atocha a portugal? Gracias¡¡

the bus normally should take 8-9 hours (if strong traffic or border check longer) all depending at what time you take the bus, the flight 90 minutes
@@Dovndyr13 yeah I’ll just do the flight. I don’t want to shorten my vacation being on the bus that long

Do they ask you for any document at the border with Spain?
No, there isn’t any real border there. Even with covid restrictions, there was no stop to check anything.
Does the driver speak English?
@@stevedavenport1202 He spoke a bit, didn’t you watch the video?
EU, so no.
Did you have seat number? Or did you sit where you want?
You can pay an extra fee to choose your seat, otherwise you sit anywhere
Take the Flixbus to Albufeira or Lagos. Or the Rede Expressos to Faro or Albufeira or Lagos. Or the Flixbus to Faro. Please. Can you make this?
Do I have to show any documentation when boarding the bus? I plan to do the same trip, but only with my residence card from Portugal
No, there’s no actual border between the 2 countries. Just the bus ticket

Love your content!! Were you stopped at the Portugal/Spain border and asked to see any Covid related documents?
Can you ride with Rede Expressos or Alsa?
I'm not sure about Rede Expressos, but you can ride with Alsa.
Good stuff

Did you have to take CV tests or shots to take the bus across border?
At the time I went it said you needed to show vaccination certificate, however no one checked anything.
@@JoshGoesSlow Do they ask you for any document at the border with Spain?
❤fantastic, thanks. How much did you pay, Josh S ?
How long was the journey? Is there any WC in the bus?
Can you recomend trips longer then 30 hours? Or should I pay more for a plane instead :)

Was there a bathroom on the bus?
Is there a bathroom in the bus? How long are stops?
i had a stop for 45 minutes at a restaurante in Merida, enough to eat and go to the bathroom xd
Hi! Will be traveling from madrid to lisbon early May this year. What are the requirement/s to enter portugal by land (bus) thanks in advance!
There’s no actual border between Spain and Portugal, there are no checks.
You didn't mention how long the journey takes. That's what I would like to know
9 hours, it's in the description:)
be careful, do not book your places in addition, in the direction of Barcelona, they will not be respected
The silly Portuguese don’t want a train connection with Madrid
A 8 to 10 hour bus trip? If you book a few months ahead you can get ryanair flights for 16 or 20 euros
The problem is the luggage
No landscape in the air
@@patrickpinheiro2518 and hidden fees
@@nehemiahmukwevho2644 actually the aerial approach to Lisbon is quite scenic
And your point us? What happens to your 20€ flight IF your plans change?
