Even though I know HOW to play snooker, I simply dont play it very well. But to straighten ones stroke, shoot table length corner to corner shots, no better practice! Good stuff!
Full sized balls on a snooker table? That’s double tough
This is awesome. I love eight ball, nine ball, and ten ball on our 9 x 5 pool tables at our local pool hall. However, I absolutely love snooker on the gigantic 6 x 12 tables - an extremely difficult and cerebral game. You guys playing 9 ball on the big table looks like a lot of fun!! Well done👍👍.

im glad this video popped up on my feed! i used to watch you such a long time ago! ive always wondered what it would be like to play on a snooker table with american sized balls.. the table its self is obvi very difficult but adding the extra size on the balls just make it even that more difficult! im happy your back to posting!
Back in the day I'd play at Chris' Billiards in Chicago. I go for the early bird special. First, I'd warm up on the 12' snooker table with snooker-sized 15-ball rack. I loved it. Making a cross-bank shot was exhilarating.
Good stuff. 35 years ago I used to practice 9 ball on a 12’ snooker table with American balls of course 1 or twice a month. After that it made the pockets on 9’ tables look & feel like 5 gallon buckets. Cheers
If you ever happen to have access to a pyramid table you should shoot some snooker on it! Would love to see how the different pockets play
One time they were playing 9 ball (PayBall) at Magoos, on the Golf 10 Foot Snooker... (with Pool Balls) One or two of the players were able to run racks upwards of 5-6 racks...
1:54 why would you play the five with draw on a table this size when the six was next and you would be placing more distance between the cue ball and six, rather than less?

In snooker it's called a shot to nothing. It's when you are not confident in making a pot, so you play it defensively, if you miss you, hopefully, don't leave your opponent an easy shot, if you get it, you're still in control.
@@DupreeTrickshots Yeah sorry, I did not mean "you" as in you personally, I meant it as all encompassing or a collective "you" to mean anyone, as in why would 'one' do so, but I never feel comfortable using that expression so perhaps I should have said why would 'somebody' do so instead.
I just think it is hard enough to pot long shots on a snooker table as it is without making it even harder, especially as you (or one/somebody) are not going to face a shot as long as that on a pool table and so playing that shot with follow or top spin on the cue ball takes it closer to the next ball rather than further from it.
@@kickstart_1.3 Yeah but this is pool on a snooker table though and I get what a shot to nothing is in snooker, where you leave it safe if you miss and can roll up behind a colour for a snooker if potting a red having played a shot to nothing.
But with this being pool and if he had potted the ball via a shot to nothing, he would be playing next himself and will have put himself in trouble or at the very least have not left himself an easy next shot.
We use to do this at the local pool hall when I was a kid. It definitely taught you to be precise! The cuts on the 5 and 8 in game 2 were nice, as well as the 7 in game 3, those are quite difficult, as well as the bank on the 4 in game 4, and of course the 1 9 combo in game 5!

Best shot? In game four, how do I describe it? Was it a double on the 4 ball because it's a snooker table or is it a bank on the 4 ball because it's nine ball?

The first 5 ball shot was DUMB!!!!!!!! What are you doing?!?!?!
Not playing nearly enough safety at the potting level you guys are showing.
And on many of their shots, playing for shape was almost non-existent as I suspect they were both used to just potting when playing on a 9-ball table and more often than not, you have shape on the next ball just by leaving the cue ball somewhere near the middle of the table.
Other points of note being no balls were made from the break, escapes from being hooked were generally unsuccessful, no balls hitting the rail first ahead of the pocket went in and many shots were rolled that would probably have been fired in or punched in on a 9-ball table.
I also think that if a top 9-ball player and a top snooker player played 9-ball on this table, then it would be much harder to call the winner compared to them playing 9-ball on a pool table where you would expect the 9-ball player to win, even though the snooker player would most likely put up a good account of themselves.
And not meaning this in a harsh way but I thought Tane played better overall despite Jaden winning.
@seanscanlon9067 there he is. You are relentless in your efforts to be degrading against pool players, aren't you? This is the first time they are doing this, you realize that right?
If they actually commited some hours of practice it would likely look better.
Also, pool balls only just fit in a snooker pocket. It's basically the same dimensions as russian pyramide. You are one of the most unpleasant and ignorant snooker players I have encountered, and I have met a big lot.

man you need to work on your fundamentals. stop getting up on shots. it's the most basic thing
We play this all the time And one pocket with the red balls can take a long time 😂
