That turned out really nice, I have a shadow box that the back comes off, I tried to figure out how to organize things inside it. Eventually, I gave up, the knobs are a very good idea!

Thanks. The jewelry box knob was strong enough to hold up the heavy cross and those clear push pin hooks worked great to hold up the lighter items. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to drill a hole in it without damaging it, but now I know it is possible for future shadow box purchases if I need to affix heavier items inside.

@FuturesPast1 I like that tape you use, I need to get a roll of that, do you get that from Amazon too. I need to try to work on my shadowbox after the holidays, keep linking things because I will use your links once I'm ready to order.

@@sherri2594 I got all the products from Amazon. I do not have a car so I rely on Amazon deliveries. The heavy duty black gaffer's tape comes in all different colors and widths and you can rip the pieces off with your hands and don't need a scissor. The regular masking tape is good for lots of things too. All the links to what I used in the video is in the description. You can bookmark or create a TH-cam playlist to add the video to it for later usage of the links.
If you need to mount heavy things and don't want to use a jewelry knob, you can drill a hole in the back of your shadowbox and hold up your items in it with wire, heavy duty fishing line or see through thread.

@FuturesPast1 I had never heard of gaffers tape until I saw you use it, I need to ask my husband if he knows what it is. I started saving videos under names so I could easily refer back to them, but somehow something went wrong & I gave up. I need to go organize what I have saved. Sometimes I hate going into stores, it is nice to be able to shop online. I was in Walmart yesterday, the pasta isle was empty, I sent a picture to my sister she said it was the same in the Walmart in her area. I looked it up, it's due to climate change 🙄🤔 people better be preparing. I do not remember this happening between 2016-2020.

Gaffer's tape is similar to duct tape, but is actually tape the cameramen use on tv shows, Hollywood movie sets, tv news room studios, stage concerts, etc, and used to tape down long cords for cameras and electrical equipment to the floor or walls so people don't trip over them and they stay in place. It is strong, water proof, easy to remove, comes in many colors to match the floors or walls and doesn't usually damage the surface it sticks to. It comes in matte or shiny. The one I have is matte black and I also have it in shiny white too. It is useful to have around the house.
Sometimes I use it to repair things because it blends in nice and holds on strong. @@sherri2594

What did you use to hold the cards up? It looks good!!

Hi! How are you doing? I miss ya. Believe it or not I took the black gaffer's tape and attached both ends to itself and stuck it on the back of the cards and it stuck to the fabric. I basically made it into double sided tape. This will make it easy to remove them and not damage them or the fabric.

@@FuturesPast1 - great idea!! I have a few momentos I’ve been wanting to put in a shadow box. I’ve been ok. Just the tiredness and weakness at times. Thank you for asking. I’ve been looking forward to seeing your videos. I enjoy them. Hope you and your husband are doing ok. And merry Christmas!!!🎄🎁

@@jeweledmirrorqueen Merry Christmas to you too. I like projects and enjoy putting things in display cases and shadow boxes. The idle mind is the devil's playground, so the more I keep busy the better, lol.
