A screen cover in front of your air intake will prevent mice from nesting inside your air filter assembly. In our case that's where they were nesting and we found out when the engine started acting up when accelerating. Took the mechanic over and hour to clean the assembly and carb, he's the one who suggested the screen trick with zip ties.
Mice in the truck engine compartment…been there. Helluva a battle but got ‘em out. Really enjoy your build videos!
Thanks! Yeah they’re in the V on top of the engine under all the intake plumbing. I’m going to have to take half of it out to clean out the nest. 🙂

One time a mouse built a nest in the squirrel cage fan of my car that had been parked a while. Didn’t know until I turned on the fan. That stunk! 🤢
That is a fast video turn around, I struggle to edit to get my videos out once a week 🙂
