Amazing video once again . 22mins went in a flash . I personally own an interceptor since June 2019 . The stock gave up after 18k and yes I too faced alot of wobbling after 16k .Replaced it to ralco speedblaster (stock size only).Have done around 500kms till date with the new pairs . They are doing absolutely fine without any complaints. The wobble is completely gone . Even if they go till 10k kms their purpose would be done as they came in very cheap compared to other options. So yes.. you can go for ralco speedblaster as per my experience.

I noticed this a while back. Installed them when I didn't know a lot about tyres.

My father works at RE as a Vehicle Dynamics engineer. It's a known secret at his workplace that RE already has machined alloys ready for launch and mass production(For INT/GT). They are not releasing them simply because there isn't a tubeless tyre reliably available in the market. CEAT is working right now on the tubeless version of ZOOM CRUZ F(ZOOM CRUZ F is the stock tyre now but only tubed variety available).. Hope it launches soon... That's why I went for the DUKE 390 from my fathers advice. He explicitly told me "Don't buy the INT otherwise you might face a lot of tyre availability issues".

In the U.S., use a Bridgestone "Spitfire" 11F (S11F) 110/90 × 18 on the front to correct speedo/odo error and on the rear use a Bridgestone "Battlax" 140/70 × 18. Easier to get on the centerstand with these tires.

Reality is that RE built a 650 cc bike for under 4 lakhs. No other company can do that. Basically you just bought a engine and frame everything else they cut the corners . It's Indian mentality sell cheap don't sell quality. To get 650 plus cc in any other company you will have to spend 5 to 6 lakh onwards . What they should have done was that add another 1 lakh to the cost of bike and make sure sell the perfection. But then their sale would be lot less .

You're absolutely right sir! The RE twins are amazing motorcycles but the tyre issue is a huge let down. First the tubed tyres & then the tyre availability. They should have put 17 inch 150 section tyres or gone with a spoked tubeless rims.

@@bzz8487 Hi Atul, I took the bike on around 10km dirt trail one time with dry soil. The tyres performed well. Only issue I had was that ABS is too sensitive and it was kicking in earlier than my liking. Heavy bike and thin tyres could be the culprit. But if you squeeze brake smoothly on dirt then it's good. On the mountains, you might experience slushy road and that should be challenging for sure. Just be aware of the terrain and ride smoothly like a typical bullet on the hills, enjoying the sound of twin.

Sorry but options of tires are wide and varied. Problem is cost and you don’t spend the money. Why did you buy a RE 650 and not a Triumph Bonni? Re is half the price here in Australia and the Triumph is not twice the bike unless your trying to race! Get a better buy price on the stock tires my friend and save yourself all the drama and cost. Dunlop’s front and Bridgestone rear work without any problems for me and cheaper than stock tires.

Funny reading all the comments regarding tyres making the bike wobble. ITS NOT the tyres. The front forks are under sprung. I swapped the springs for a 10% stiffer set and fitted some preload adjusters. With the static sag set correctly at 20mm the wobble disappears and the bike tracks beautifully at all speeds.

@@happinessperkm yes Hitchcock’s springs and adjusters. I have also fitted Hagon rear shocks. Important to set the right sag for each rider as a 60kg rider is going to need less preload than a 100kg one. Get that right and that vagueness at high speed goes. My bike is rock solid up to 113mph even on worn tyres.

I have been using Pirelli stock tyre i loved them too
It’s great tyre loved them & now due to lack of options here I bought ralco it’s not great but I am adjusting my self now, bike feels heavy from rear end , do not lean bike unless you are Valentino rossi😉 (I don’t feel enough confident it’s good till 100 -120 ) and later on thinking about zoom Cruz.

    Hello, Grt Content!
    I own an interceptor too.
    1) Planning to go for Way2speed tubeless conversion.
    2) Heard (Not confirmed), that the stock Ceat is a tubed tires and we can't use them if we have tubeless converted.
    3) Even if RE launches the alloy wheels option, if the CEAT is tubed, what tire will they provide for alloys?
Confused & no word from RE too!

In entire Pune market there is only one option and that is Ralco. Ceat don't have rear tyre for Interceptor. Therefore I gone with ceat front and Ralco rear for my Rajasthan Trip. Don't know if you can obtain them in India but the Avon Roadrider 2 is a fantastic tyre.. Avons have always been great in the UK. Stock Pirellis were ok, didn't last long, and not so good in the wet in my opinion. The Price in Europe for the Avons beats most of the other credible tyres with a good reputation Bridgestone, Michelin.........

Hi, ceat is already out, i got it. I took for a 350 km ride, it was pretty good except once, I had a serious wobble at the front when I climbed a flyover and just crossed the top at 100 kmph. I felt may be i made a mistake of not slowing down before reaching the top. Another common thing, when I switch lanes at > 80 kmph, we hit the reflectors on toll roads and I feel a small wobble.

I have the 2021 GT(rocker red) delivered in october. It came with ceat tyres. I haven't done any major touring, but went from lucknow to kanpur (100kms) and back the same day(200kms total). I feel like ceat is just not enough, works fine for city rides and the story ends there. I entered the wrong lane on a toll during my journey and as soon as I applied breaks, the front tyre slipped. It has since happened thrice(not in the particular journey tho). I'm 70kgs and wasn't having luggage. I have no experience of the Pirelli tyres but I'm really looking forward to changing ceat tyres for sure, since the performance is just meh and not confidence assuring. I just hope MRF to come up with a quality product for this bike.
