    The problem I had with downstreaming on stucco, is, it seemed to be diluted too much by the time it hit wall, it wouldn't get the black streaks off. Finally I make a batch in a sprayer and sprayed directly on, and it lifted right out, then used the pw for a rinse. I'm a 5 gallon bucket I had 4 gallons 10% SH and the appropriate amount of jomax with some ride. So I guess downstreaming works great for the non porous material. But I gave it up

    Great video! I’ve seen this technique used before and I LOVE IT. The only thing is, whenever I try to use this technique myself, it doesn’t work!
    I have a 4,000 PSI Dewalt Pressure Washer and 3/8 ball valve but when I take my gun or sweeper off to utilize the ball valve rinse, I get LOW PRESSURE. It seems odd to me because logically it seems the pressure should still come out, as it does in this video and pretty much every other one I’ve seen. When my gun or sweeper is attached, the pressure is phenomenal. I just want to use this technique and haven’t been able to!😆
    Do you have any thoughts on why I’m not getting the same results? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    so the ball valve is not all the way open for soap. and all the way open for rinse ??

    • @Gallagur-xz6fr
      @Gallagur-xz6fr 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Actually, it would be the opposite. The more open the valve, the less pressure and more water flow (water is traveling through the hose freely and at higher volume). Higher water flow is what draws the soap into the stream. As you begin to close the valve, this restricts water flow and increases the pressure by forcing the water through a smaller outlet. This stops the high volume of water flowing through the system, and keeps the soap from being drawn. Hope that helps.
