Even though your video seemed pretty easy I have never had such a difficult time trying to detach the white of this cat mainly just around the eyes. I can accomplish all the white spots except around the eyes it always takes the eyes as well!
It may be the image and not the steps. This does not work with all images. If you are on FB can you post the image in our FB Group Silaholics Anonymous or if you are Not on FB email it to theprofessor@hsink365.com and i will let you know if it can be done.

Just wondering how do I get rid of a rectangle that I used to measure on my canvas that I saved accidentally and now I can’t get it off how do I get rid of the rectangular off my canvas?
Hi. Ive created a flower shape birthday card and wrote a long poem in the middle, and a message on the front. I just want to cut the shape and leave the text. I have tried increasing the threshold so it just cuts the card shape but it still keeps some of the text to cut. I dont want it to cut any text and rather than spend 20mins deleting all the break points is there a quicker way of doing this. I thought i would be able to click the text box, right click and remove them all. Is there another way. Many Thanks in Advance.

I do have a question, about my software on my laptop, (I hope you can answer this for me) I cut some vinyl for a project I was doing, it worked perfect, the next day I went to cut the word Welcome I can't get it to open my silhouette design 4.2 Then when it opened it said loading library something, n it just spins n spins. Should I have to reinstall my sofyware???
Whether or not you can fully trace any image depends on the actual image and also if it is a good quality image. If you are on FB post a picture in my group Silaholics Anonymous Silhouette Help
This isn't working for me. After I fill color, deselect my white inner parts of letters, and delete. I end up with just the inner parts of letters with the fill color. I select the image again as instructed, go to modify and hit subtract and it deletes my whole image!
that means that there is a small spec somewhere behind the design. if you are dragging and selecting try just holding down shift and click on the image and then modify
I personally prefer the 1st method because i can do all at once. Also everyone does not have designer edition. Also for certain images doing it one by one it will take for ever. And for the 2nd method you can't get the whole thing filled it without the edges being jagged on some images. This was an easy image but I wanted to show all the ways.

hi, in the cut settings click on cut edge to not cut the inside

I am trying to cut the letter B but the insides of the B (circles) aren't showing cut lines, how do i get those to cut?

I’m following everything 100% correctly and when I select modify and subtract, it deletes everything.
