My grandpa made brooms. Still have his winders, broom sewing machine and all the equipment in top of his barn. I am so upset, that I didn't learn this craft from him, before he passed.

I'm from Pennsylvania and we use bailers twine for everything still. it was never stopped being used. all corn,straw,wheat,oats,hay and alfalfa are wrapped with twine and ONLY twine. nothing else.

He was recently in an accident and his legs had to be amputated. Do you think it will still be possible for him to keep using the equipment? We don't know yet, if he'll be a good candidate for prostheses. I'd appreciate your opinion.
