Haha cool! Yeah I actually hadn’t done that before and had just eyeballed them. But I was making a few brushes all at once so thought I should try and make them uniform and straight! It works pretty well! I still find trimming them to be quite difficult even with sharp scissors. I’m sure I’m missing a trick somewhere!
Hahaha I actually bought the brush fibres in 2020 mid lockdown justifying buying a big box of them with “I can make a video about making brushes! I can sell some brushes to cover the cost!” and then they took 6 months to arrive because of the whole shipping thing and when they did arrive I was otherwise distracted… so it’s only taken me about 4 years to make this video and make enough brushes to sell to recoup the cost of all the fibres 😂

I really love watching these :)
Thanks Celia!!
I enjoyed watching this video because it gave me a lot of information in a very short time.
Thanks!
Really great video, so many little hacks I wouldn't have thought of! (like a guide for trimming the bristles, so clever) :)

Looks great! added to the list of things I want to make when I have the time (which is never, lol)!

@@DavidParker Ugh just realized it's been 4 years since the lockdowns... How did that happen!
@@TheGrantAlexander 4 years since they started!! Not since they ended! 🥴
Excellent video and project!
Thank you! Yeah I might be biased but I love the brushes haha
Hi David, thanks for sharing! What would the depth of the hole be?tks!
I’m not sure that I measured the exact depth, just slightly deeper than where the thread tying your brush fibers together is
no stitching?
Oh where would I stitch something? This is just the method I learned from Aspen and it seems to work well for me
"promosm"
I don’t understand?
