A huge 'THANK YOU' to the generous Swedes who helped my kid out... from the time he arrived last winter until he set sail a couple days ago. Olf and his family were a tremendous help, along with lots of others. Thank you ❤️

The life I wanted but everything involving sails and or boats in my life never ended well. Sailing camp for example, sailed right into a hurricane which snapped the mast and of course the pusher engine didn't work. Hurricane David, Chesapeake Bay Gloucester Sailing School.

Sam shows the reality of life on the sea, but makes it look easy. You must devote 110% of your attention and energy to be successful and SAFE! Remember the Rule of Three: you can survive 3 minutes without air, 3 hours without warmth, 3 days without water, and 3 weeks without food. The knowledge required to do this in a tiny boat on a huge sea is incredible; a phd in life skills!

If anyone is thinking of using a reversing camera for this sort of thing, they often have a 'mirror' function by default, which you need for reversing. I was trying to do a RC boat FPV, and seemed like a nice cheap waterproof solution. BOTH the cameras I got online claimed to have a normal/mirror function, but both very much did not. the third camera I got from a local car store, so I could open it and make 100% sure it did. 3x the price, but actually useful. just something to be aware of. and yes, FPV on a small brushless RC boat is awesome fun, the sensation of speed is insane!

Ive got some bad news for you. That "perfectly machined" mating surface on your ceramic prop shaft seal... that has to have water to keep it cool and lubricated. Without it, its going to fail very quickly. Its the same seal style used in water pumps, and first thing they tell you is to never run it while its dry.

1st get rid of 1300sf 95% on your way to figuring that out. I keep dragging land junk on my boats, anything your not using is junk. What your using will get simpler to organize once it’s not under junk. I am learning, Yarvind helps.
