your literally becoming my favorite asmrtist. everything’s perfect. reminds me of the old asmr before it got popular. thank you thank you thank you and never lose motivation!
Linda, Not sure how I missed this video until now! Thanks for the shout out. And to clarify, the state border parenthetical in my original comment was a reference to West Virginia’s creation out of Virginia during the civil war. Love your videos so keep ‘em comin’.
My mother's been to regions pretty deep in the West Virginian mountains on dog rescue business and when they say that area is 'country' they goddamn mean it.
I live in the northern part of WV, and it makes me smile when people remember we exist! Haha. We have such a beautiful state, and I hate that so many go without having the opportunity to experience it!
My family is from WV and I get giddy when it's discussed too! It was dogged on during my childhood but now I hope people are seeing what a beautiful nature and kind people there are!
Mt family is near Charleston and I always feel like my mind slows and unwinds when i go there. Its just calm, and easier going. The sides of mountains with waterfall everywhere. Also mothman!!! I would like to see a revitalization for the community, but thats another story. Thank you for such a lovely video again, i miss it so!
"Mind slows and unwinds" Sounds lovely. This is how I feel about being out in nature. It's great. Do you know that I don't know anything about mothman? I need to look this up! Thanks for the comment.
I actually watched a documentary this morning at 5am about coal mining in West Virginia. Scary dangerous job, very brave people. I'm from Ireland and the land, weather and people remind me very much of here. Great video. Subscribed ❤️
Any chance you watched tv show Friends? There was one episode when Rose (a character from the show) was trying to name all states in USA during the Thanksgiving, and ofc he couldnt remembered the one state xD After seeing this title, my mind straight went to that episode 😅
Grew up in WV. People always mention coal miners to me. Of which very little of the state does. Side story. My roommate in college was from the north Georgia mountains. A town nearby him was where they shot the movie you mentioned... They actually used locals as standins etc.
your voice is so familiar, have you ever been a radio DJ? you sound a little bit like kost 103.5s Karen Sharp whose voice was the first time i ever experienced "ASMR"
The fact you considered Minnesota, my great home, a western state and not Midwestern has caused me great offense given our nationally recognized accent and arguably the most Midwestern culture.
Putting my map away here - Tennessee has a lot of states surrounding it!
As a tennesseen i can proudly say we border the most states out of all the states in the US
@@NateWhispersAsmr good ol’ rocky top!

I do agree with your third line, I think a lot of it is still good but can be overproduced; this is very simple
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! My motto in life "keep it simple stupid".
I just found your channel and am obsessed! I love that you love to laugh at yourself, it brings me joy to listen to it at the end of the day
Yay! Thank you!

I'm so glad you finally watched!! lol! Thanks so much!

It's still home to me, dang it.
Dog rescue? That’s so cool.

Agree! I think I decided tonight to try whitewater rafting this summer - something not to scary. Thanks for watching!

@@Nofrillsasmryou should! Cheat River Outfitters is the place to try for beginners! You’ll love it!
I drove through the very rural countryside of West Virginia, a lot of forests this summer, and it was very pretty!

You are so comforting!
I’m so glad! Thanks for watching!!
your voice is so pleasant, I kinda wanna wrap myself in it like in a blanket!
(idk this sounds weird but its how I feel listening to this video)
Not weird at all. Get cozy!

I think a lot of West Virginians are Scots Irish or Irish. That might be an interesting thing to look into actually. 🤔Thanks for the comment!
@@Nofrillsasmr Oh I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I'll have a look into it.
You have sold me on visiting West Virginia!
Awesome! I decided tonight to go in the summer and try whitewater rafting there, but I'm pretty intimidated by white water so it will push me a bit!
The depth to apologize for a simple mistake 🥺 Literally polite beyond polite
Also, Canaan (pronounced CUH - NANE with a long “a” sound where the double “a” is in the name) is my favorite spot in the entire state! Such a blast!
It’s gorgeous!

I have seen Friends, but not that episode. I'll look it up!
You need to look up the ‘America Explain Kansas Arkansas’ vine lol
I live in northern Virginia (DC area) and claim both "northeast" and "southeast" so I guess West Virginia should be able to do the same
I know! Every broadcast is a little bit different too. I watch on antenna and just have to take what I get. Thanks for the comment.
what a great pic of that bear!!
He was a little too close! But occupied by marshmallows.

Oh, that’s interesting. Thanks for the comment!
as an English person my only knowledge of West Virginia is that Wheeling, West Virginia is where Chris from Northern Exposure comes from.
Was he? I had a huuugge crush on Chris!! That show was excellent.
Another map video, my favourite!
Excellent! Thanks for the comment!!
Missouri is bordered by 8 states which (I believe) is the most!
Maybe I should do a relaxing video just counting states around states. Thanks for the comment!!
Actually Missouri and Tennessee are tied with 8. Sorry for the late post, I just got to this video after watching them in order haha.
Better late than never! I love smart comments. Thanks!
It’s kinda funny that the two states you forgot both have very important cities named Charleston
Very interesting. I’ve never been to either Charleston.
Almost Heaven…
So many things I forgot to say and this is one of them! It is almost heaven.

I never have, but I used to want to be! 😂
@@Nofrillsasmr you have the voice for it for sure!!
Bruh I literally live in South Carolina I didn’t know people would forget about us
I love South Carolina too!
It's pronounced as you did the first time at 11:52 :)
Got it. Thank you!!
Listening from Charleston
Thanks!
It’s western because West is in its name?
Yeah, ok, that's it. duh. I should have figured that. Thanks for the comment!

I agree Minnesota is sooo Midwest. I’m not known for getting things right, just learning as I go. 😊

I think I may have gotten it right here.
No need to apologize Linda, no one really cares about West Virginia 😂
So true
Classless
you're forgetting that it is THE Mountain Momma AND Country Road STATE
