George Washington Carver is who I was taught invented peanut butter. The movie with Jamie Foxx is called The Burial.
That's who I had guessed you were thinking of. So did I. Some day when I really want to dig through the sources to find out who really invented it, I will--ha.
Still relaxing to your voice. Carry on.
Peanut butter is one of those things that has been invented many times by many different people, George Washington Carver was not one of them. He did come up with hundreds of other uses for the peanut, however.
@@duggo42 Interesting. Not exactly the same, but it reminds me of the various people credited with the "inventions" of the automobile and television. I realize history can be vague, obscure, complex, etc., and require a lot of research.

WOOOO I LOVE FACTS!!!!
Facts are good!
Immediately when I heard the peanut butter fact I thought, No thats George Washington Carver. Turns out he discovered a bunch of different uses for peanuts, but peanut butter was not one of them. Who knew?!
I just looked it up and google is giving credit to Kellogg? Somewhere else I saw the Incas - which probably makes the most sense. I bet a lot of people "invented" it, it's just ground nuts - they were grinding all kind of things waaay back, like wheat and herbs.
Wow, apparently this has me really worked up! lololol

Lithium carbonate is an inorganic compound, the lithium salt of carbonic acid with the formula Li2CO3. This white salt is widely used in processing metal oxides. It is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines for its efficacy in the treatment of mood disorders such as bipolar disorder. -Wikipedia
Ohhh, right, like in old books/movies they take lithium for their "nerves". Thanks for the comment.
Algorithm! ❤
