I appreciate the stream of consciousness/natural flow of your videos. It makes me feel like we’re just chatting and helps to clear out some of the chatter in my head. Thanks for that ✨🧚🏻
Also, the Mason Dixon line is the top of the md border and the straight part of the WV border(hence why it’s so straight and doesn’t follow rivers/mountains like the rest of the border).
Hey Linda, hopefully you see this but I just discovered your channel a few days ago and this is some of the most comforting stuff I’ve ever seen, and I’m learning at the same time! Please keep making these, you have a real talent for this stuff! Have a great new years!
My new favorite ASMR channel. I've watched all of your recent videos and I love them so much. Your choice of content, flow, and consistency are all wonderful. Keep up the great work!
Loving your channel! You’re so authentic I get a very unintentional/intentional ASMR vibe from your videos and so many tingles! Your style and approach is so unique and I wanted to express my appreciation! Thank you!
You can assign your TH-cam account to forward earnings to any Adsense account. Simply create a new one with whichever gmail account you are logging into this TH-cam channel with. I think there’s a threshold of minimum requirements before you can join the partner program (to earn money). You’ll be fine. Don’t worry 😉
I stumbled across your videos a few weeks ago, and have enjoyed them all!! I subscribed within two minutes of the first video i watched, I enjoy the chit chat and the thinking out loud, which other ASMRists just edit out haha. They help my panic attacks or overthinking when i cant sleep, gets my mind to think about other things, so thank youuuu!
I understand completely what you mean about overthinking and I'm so glad this helps. Thank you so much for watching and commenting I really do appreciate it.
I wondered about that! 😂 My friend is very particular and my half-assedness makes her want to pull her hair out sometimes! Thank you for watching anyway!!
Thanks! I like making these videos anyway so that’s still fun, but I hope somehow I’ll sort out the $ part, it’s frustrating to be honest. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
i know it’s such a small thing but thank you for listening to appalachia locals when it comes to pronunciation! i’m from the area and it’s extremely frustrating when people try to “correct” my own pronunciation :/
I started watching your videos short while ago and I really love them. Especially when learning about the US, because where I‘m from (Germany) I only learn the basics and would love to experience more
The Intermountain Region is a bit tricky, because it includes eastern Washington and Oregon, and cuts off in the middle of Colorado. The huge mountain ranges (Cascade and Rocky) are the borders for the region.
As an Australian, this would only take about 30 seconds to make this video 😂😂. Our countries are nearly the same size ( excluding Alaska and Hawaii)and we only have 6 states ( and 2 territories). Our largest state is 3.7 times larger than texas. I’m enjoying listening to your videos… as a truck driver, I’m always interested in maps and find the US very interesting 👍🏻
It sounds like you’ve lived in and traveled to a lot of places! You should talk about all of the cities you’ve lived in and your favorite travel destinations :) you don’t have to divulge your current city, because I get the whole privacy thing lol
Sounds like fun to me. My sister keeps notes when we travel together so maybe next time I'm with her I'll read them over to jog my memory a bit before I do it. Thanks for the comment!!
I’m from Maryland (a state with some of those mountains) and I was taught to say it that way, with the “ay” sound, as well 🤷🏻♀️ so I’m gonna keep saying it like that. I never heard the other “correct” pronunciation until much later in life, so I’m just gonna say it the way I was taught.
I always say a dislike is more powerful than a like 😂. Dont let the dislikes hit you too hard, but i know the feeling. Had trouble sleeping tonight, just discovered your channel now. Love this style. Will sub and keep your channel on the regular rotation! Thank you!
so, im from Virginia but I haven't lived there all that long, but West Virginia and Kentucky are kinda odd states. Tennessee can pass off as a "deep south" state along with Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida but Kentucky can't really. Virginia can kinda pass as a southern state with North Carolina and South Carolina but VA and NC really depend on where you are in the state and then SC is pretty much all "southern". But, with that said, WV doesn't really get included in that. They are also not really included in the Midwest conversation because they are almost there but their culture is a little too different, which is the same reason Minnesota doesn't get included. SO... Kentucky and West Virginia are kinda known as coal states or mining states. They are kinda their own little group of "not quite specified for any of the others" This is just my understanding of the situation but i could very well be wrong.
@@Nofrillsasmr of course! you're videos are sooo amazing! i just found you today and it was a whole rollercoaster from this video. I laughed, I learned, and then promptly got knocked out! Keep doing good work and I hope you enjoy it : )
Yeah, Virginia is the “south” in the same way that Pennsylvania is the “north”. It’s kinda true. But in terms of culture & geography, Virginia is a thousand miles from Georgia, just like PA is totally different from Maine
I love your videos. ASMR has gotten so inauthentic with all the awkward roleplaying and cringy repeated words. Just my opinion. It doesn't relax me lol But, it makes it such a treasure to find your videos. They're authentic sounds that occur from your natural movements. It's the best! I love that you have general plan or outline of what you want to talk about but mostly wing it. For me, that makes it more relaxing. Thank you so much.
at 20:46 you dropped two and didnt count it , I'm here from the first videos comments about what state you missed but I don't think you missed any and just miscounted 👍
You should get that Adsense figured out! You are quickly venturing in to the hundreds if not thousands of dollars per month range of earnings. Interesting watch/listen!
It’s wild and wonderful - that’s for sure! Thanks for the comment. Edit to say - I thought you said West Virginia. 😂 Virginia is for Lovers - that’s what we know for sure. 😊
You really need to fix your account and hook it up for monetization that’s crazy you do this for free. At least set up a patreon or buy me a coffee link…
You could do the 13 colonies, then go state by state for when every other state joined
That’s a good idea. Thanks
I appreciate the stream of consciousness/natural flow of your videos. It makes me feel like we’re just chatting and helps to clear out some of the chatter in my head.
Thanks for that ✨🧚🏻
I'm so glad it clears some chatter - I understand exactly what you meant, this is exactly why I love ASMR it helps quiet my mind. Thanks for watching.

I love that you referenced Niagara Falls at 2:35!! As a fan from there it warmed my heart to hear you mention it! Love this video!
We were just there in May on our way up to Tobermory. The falls are a powerful sight! Thanks for watching!
I’m from WV, you’re saying it correctly! I’m constantly amazed when I go away for work and hear people say it the other way.
Also, the Mason Dixon line is the top of the md border and the straight part of the WV border(hence why it’s so straight and doesn’t follow rivers/mountains like the rest of the border).

It keeps saying "you already have an account", but I think my son and I figured out how to cancel the other account now. I'm hopeful.

From NC here. I was so happy to hear you pronounce Appalachia correctly. Great work here. 😊
Thanks!
I’m convinced people in NC just like to pronounce Appalachia wrong to mess with everyone else… 😂😂
No frills =your voice, hand movements and the sounds. Those are what counts. Keep it up!
Thanks!! Will do.
This is my new favorite channel even though you trigger my ocd when you trace outside the lines😂

Whatever you call it, it's beautiful!
I had never heard of the term West North Central. It sounds cooler than saying I'm from the Midwest. 😅
That's so funny! It totally does. I'm from the 313 in the East North Central, don't mess with me. lol
I loveee your voice and the content.
Thank you so much! whispering pine ASMR sounds like something I would love - I’ll check out your channel when I’m done working!
Do you always do soft spoken ? I wanna see a video like this but like close whispering. I liked the video nonetheless!
I have some whisper videos - look under playlists. I’ll try to make more. Thanks for watching!
Part 2? That means i've missed upload of part 1 😅
I had phone problems again. But the good news it gave me a reason to order a new(to me) one.
That tracing is amazing make sure to do a video of the new phone unboxing
I hadn’t even thought of that. It just a refurbished older phone, but I guess it still might be interesting. Good thinking - thanks!

Thank you kindly!
I hope you solve the $ situation. A 13 colonies video would be nice to watch
I think I'm getting closer to figuring it out! I'm interested in the 13 colonies too. Stuff I should have learned in school, but I was a poor student.
I’m from Wisconsin and I always grew up saying Apple-ay-shin, but I think I was taught wrong 😅 I just avoid saying it because of confusion lol
I was originally taught wrong too, I think. Thanks for watching!! Keep on truckin'.
