Thanks for visiting The Uncovered Files Channel! I hope you enjoy the watch! 😍
The inclusion of controversies and personal struggles adds a layer of complexity to the narrative, painting a portrait of a flawed yet immensely talented individual whose legacy continues to resonate in the world of film.
I met Robert Mitcham wen he was making winds of war in the eastend lovely man ❤
There are many people who would’ve liked to have met him and some others. Count yourself among the fortunate ones. 😊
You fail to tell the best role he ever played as Pug Henry in the Wind of War and War and Remembrance . A whole new generation made him a big part of that decade.
I have burned through two sets of both mini-series, with delight. Mr. Mitchum defined greatness in this role - he is Pug Henry.
I, too, have watched both mini series and his performances were phenomenal. Everyone should watch them and they are provided free on TH-cam.
Used Paul new man’s photo for Mitchum. Fie
So what did his son reveal? I must have missed it…NOT! Click bait.
I remember him in the move "Home from the Hills'.......he was strong and very masculine
May he RIP
Beautiful video and films and almost all aspects of his life LG Elisabeth..🥃.
Mitchum was a truly great film actor ,so natural didn't seem like a performance , the "Mills &Boone" narration is laughable at times .
It’s very upsetting when documentaries post incorrect pictures of the person they are speaking of. And it’s also upsetting when more emphasis is spent on their faults rather than their contributions. It seems that people seem to forget that actors and actresses or anyone are also human beings with all the emotional, mental and physical challenges that everyone else faces. They are expected to not become attached or involved with the characters they are in films with on the outside but play the part in the film. That’s a difficult task on any level. Just look around at people who work together or couples who are casual friends with each other. I’m not providing excuses. I’m simply stating that stop emphasizing that part of their life. They still have grandchildren out there and maybe they should’ve been able to restrain themselves. Probably, but they didn’t and announcing it to the world isn’t going to help anyone.
He was a very good actor. I’ve commented before on different occasions that he had the ability to act without even trying to act. Maybe that’s because he had experienced so many different situations in his life and not all were very pleasant. I think that’s what makes some of the successful ones very good to the public, maybe not to the Academy, but we’re the ones paying the tickets to go watch the movies.
I could not agree more: there is this malicious tendency to heighten the sins of actors like Walter Brennan, Jimmy Stewart, Randy Scott, Marlene Dietrich and many others, when those who write up those comments probably commit the very same sins. Do they do it just to gain public attention? If so, it is even sicker to watch purported docs with titles like "the most evil man in Hollywood" and the like. We, the watchers, are just as much at fault for watching but woe betide those who soil the reputation of the deceased, for there is nothing more cowardly and I hope they meet those they defame in the netherworld.
@@adrianovasconcelos2739I really appreciate your input. What good purpose does it serve to criticize or speak out against someone especially when they have passed and can’t defend themselves? It’s cruel.
Love the BR nod😉
How can you continually say 'his loyalty to Dorathy (wife)' while listing and detailing all his affairs. I suggest you search out a dictionary.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My favourite role of Robert Mitchum's was as Victor Pug Henry, in Herman Wouk's novels, "Winds of War" and "War and Remembrance".
These books were adapted to two television miniseries ❤
First we see a Photo of Paul Newman that is supposed to be Mitchum. Then, when his grandson is spoken of, we see a photo of Guy Madison. It is difficult to find the narration credible when such sloppy visuals are offered. I stopped watching at the 11 minute mark because the title said Mitchum's son would confirm rumors about his father but he hadn't even shown up yet.
You ignored one of the most private and almost completely unknown aspects of his life!
boring, with errors - do better next time!
