I bought one last year, I have thrashed the nuts off it both on & off road, still going strong. Won the sweetlamb baja championship in the 450 class on it this year. Awesome little bike.
Let’s be fair, for the money if it lasts 5 years you cannot go wrong really. If you look after it and keep it clean and garaged maybe 10 years. Brilliant value in my opinion.
I bought this bike a year ago! I actually started looking for a "small" offroad bike after seeing a Honda CRF300L. The Voge is what it claims to be, a cheap, small but capable bike. Not Honda quality, but a good engine, good suspension and good-enough brakes. I went for this bike to start going on TET tracks. I knew I would fall plenty of times and I wanted a bike that I wouldn't lose sleep over some scratches. Crash bars, handlebar guards and rear rack are stock on Voge but extras ($) on the Honda. The bike is a lot cheaper too. I've crashed a few times on a few sections of TET Portugal and Spain, on the Voge they're battle scars but they would be scratches on a Honda.
As a CRF300 Rally owner, I’d say you got yourself a very nice bike at a heck of a deal. I like the color of it this year better than last year. You got real hand guards, off road pegs, and crash bars, everything I had to buy for my bikes. I just hope it is as reliable as a Honda, which is a lot to be said since I’ve already seen 60k + miles being put on the Honda, and it’s still going strong.. The biggest reason I like my Honda is because I have a Big Bore kit waiting to be installed when I get around to it, which will convert the bike into the Unicorn I’ve always wanted. When someone offers that for this machine, and it’s been around long enough to know if it’s reliable enough, that’s when I’ll be able to approve it as a long term investment. But for what you have, and what you paid, yes, I’d say it’s a no brainer.
Great review mate I’ve owned one for about a year now and love it. I put some Michelin trackers on it and changed the front sprocket to lower the revs down slightly at higher speeds . Currently doing the TET on it and it proves itself time and time again . A great bang for buck bike 👍
Spot on lad! I bought my less than 1 year old CRF300L off a chav in Keighley with 2k miles for £3750 which was an absolute steal. I would have had one of these Voge Rally’s if I didn’t find the CRF so cheap. Good video 👌🏻
Sold my 250 Rally a couple of months ago and preordered a CFMOTO 450, had a call to say could have one on thursday, friday at the NEC changed order to this, weight being the main reason as i am old but what a bargain! Have a Kawasaki KLX250 already and no concerns with engine, will serve my modest needs better and give me more confidence on the trails. But its a personal choice and everyone has their own criteria.
Loving these voges you are riding. Cant wait to try the road one u tested recently. Waiting to get my licence back please god. ( lost for year for medical) expired March 25
I tested the 250 and 300 CRF. Then a 300 Rally. Veeeery similar but the Honda were far better quality. Smother engines. Better gearboxes. So I bought a Himalayan 450 instead! Tubeless of course…
It's 3k cheaper for a reason, quality aside, what's a 3 year old one of these going to be worth compared to a 3 year old crf? There's no denying it's a good looking bike but it not a honda and it won't hold the value like a honda will. As long as you treat it as a consumable that will be next to worthless after 3 years of green laning then it will be a great bike. Just don't expect it to be worth 2k when you trade it in.
Actually, Honda should listen to you. I do have 2023 Honda Rally here in Indonesia. As delivered the Honda suspension is a crude joke. Spring rates viplate the most basic sag rules. Honda fan buys don't, free sag at over 30%, a joke. So it's $1200 in YSS and Racetech suspension. Next is the choked up engine, stupid airbox small diameter and 10 inch snorkle......to increase torque on 286cc bike. The engine is done breathing by 8000k. So $500 on ecu, airbox mod. We'll $350 on exhaust. No rack, so another $100. Low crash bars $150. Spaghetti steel handlebar, no charge port (a Rally bike), no passing light switch, toolbox that fits few fortune cookies. 2025 update, new paint job. Now I love my Rally, but now I have $9000 in it. Shame on u Honda and the rest.........My new "big" bike, CFMOTO mt450.
The rate main dealers are closing, there will be a place for these chino/italian bikes. My car a beautiful luxurious £ 13k honda crv 2018. My daughter an electric corsa £36k.?.???. When I see motorcycles at £16k plus these crf, RE, voge, benelli will be the new go tos like we all or most defected to Japanese all those years ago. I dont like any of the enfields I have tested. But follow some European vloggers on voge and most from GS ownership. Time will tell
Hi well a good review, now to all you na Sayers of Chinese bikes you forget that most of your tech ie phones, tv's ,micro chips etc etc.. where they all come from yes China. Now I rode one of these when they first came out and was impressed, then nearly a year later bought one, I run it in correctly it has the original tyres still, it's now done 2700 miles with some motox style abuse done 300 miles round trip one day very comfy for style of bike, around the ABR Festival 24 several times WITH NO ISSUES AT ALL, for £2500 cheaper than the Honda which has soggy rear suspension. Now you guys might think I am a new rider WRONG, 44 yrs riding racing in 3hr enduros have had Suzuki ts185, Maico 440, DT400, RM250, GPZ900R, FIREBLADES, XJR 1300, BTW 1200GS, KTM 990 ADV DUCATI SCRAMBLER , DR 800 , GUZZI V85TT to name a few... honestly theses are great green laning bikes simple inexpensive if you drop it light enough to pickup 70 mpg and the £2500 you save is a lot of fuel and play time. And remember how we were about Japanese bikes back in the early 1970s, and many of them now are collectable... So forget there political regime good or bad there giving us what we want good looking, affordable bikes with extras included and only time will tell on reliability as with the Japanese bikes. Personally it's a very good thing it's making the other manufacturers think of there pricing and cost of extras.
the difference is that in 20 years the Honda will still be running like new. The Voge is an unknown whether it will be running and if the company will even exist. I will stick to my honda
Had one ... if I could afford 2 bikes then I would have kept for lane stuff .. however just too underpowered to have as my 'only bike' ... one thing I have to disagree with though is your comment 'all day long' for riding ... I could not go for more than an hour before that seat was smashing my ar*e ... seriously un-comfy but that apart and the daft short service periods ... amazing value!
Yeah it's all right but for that much money you could have gotten a Monkey! Sorry I couldn't help myself. And I added the CRF to my stable because I live in America and we can't get them (Kove) here or I'd have one... and I'd have 2 Monkeys!
Nonsense, made on the bike 8000 miles in 5 months including hard offroad trips without any problem and it looks like new and the KLR engine works quite well.

@@MichaelCotton-g5t So much fun for little money 🤑. Well worth a test ride 👍
You race in motocross? where?
The used market value on Chinese motorcycles is low but if you keep it for ever doesn’t matter.
That's because they are cheap in the first place look after it and it will serve you well
I think I trust Honda's aftersales and longevity than the Voge.
Voge is not exactly a new company but I totally understand. Some people love a certain brand 😉.
