I used to work at a warehouse that sold Spanx,a woman’s brand for clothing. Literally the easiest and most simple job ever but they used to work us everyday including weekends and holidays even on days we were supposed to have off, they hit us with the last minute mandatory days to come in. If we didn’t go on those mandatory days even though most people already had plans or places to go to , they would threaten us with giving us points or firing us. I remember after leaving the warehouse, I went one day to go visit my coworkers that still worked there and my old managers looked at me and didn’t acknowledge me like I never worked there. Its sad but it’s the reality, I busted my self everyday at that warehouse and they don’t remember all the things i did for them that was urgent. The main reason I never overwork myself again and just work smart.
