For people who have a large stash why not shop the stash & match it with an event rather than chosong an event then buying a painting for it. Another way of working on the stash to get it down & work on older paintings at the same time. Just another way of looking at things!
I love truth bomb Lisette. Storage/accessories is also another way people hoard in Diamond Painting without realising it. Because even if you aren't buying new kits, it collects very easily. Especially if you are wanting your diamond painting to be aesthetically pleasing or buying storage trends. I have 2 storage solutions for big vs little diamond paintings and tray towers for confetti paintings. I have too many pens now as well just because of DAC bringing out the new putty pens.
I found diamond painting to help with chronic pain. I found it helpful to have it especially during those times pain wakes me in the night. So I find now, I diamond painting the morning and also, at those times I am using it therapeutically 😊
Hi Lisette - I'm really enjoying this series thank you. I've even been creating my own journal entries alongside you. I spent $2K AUD last year. I'm on a zero-spend year in 2025, so will be shopping my stash.
I always say that events drive me crazy because there are so many but after watching planning your year I think I can join some events. I can probably join the Hannah Lynn because I will be working on Heart of Ice for this month. I diamond paint in the morning and if I have some time I will diamond paint in the evening. Thank you for sharing🥰🤗❤️
These are great ideas! I really loved your year plans and being realistic with yourself. I try to be realistic with myself as well. Like with reading, I am a mood diamond painter so I just do it when I think I want to do it which can be any time of day on my days off and sometimes I am able to work on them while at work. I also enjoy having multiple WIPs and I think between 3 to 5 WIPs will be my sweet spot.
I diamond paint every morning and try to in the evenings. I usually have 2-3 WIP’s going because I tend to get bored working on the same painting. Most of mine are larger.
This is exactly the piece of the journal I needed! I now have a clear picture and a way to plan from my stash without buying. 🎉 Fantastic job and thank you for sharing ❤
Hoi Lisette. Leuke video weer! Ik ga zeker weer de Winter with DAC doen. Dit jaar voor het eerst meegedaan en ik vond het erg leuk. Begint in november trouwens. Misschien ga ik ook nog Old Masters doen dit zomer. Moet ik even bekijken. Groetjesss. 👋👋
Yes, me too - normally - but I'm trying something new this month - we'll see how it goes. I'll update you on it in the next stash count sundays at the beginning of February
Thank you for always being so supportive and mentioning my event!
Anytime dear Lindsay

This is exactly what I do, and how I actually plan ahead. I don't remember the last time i purchased a kit specifically for an event.
Yes, love it
I start every morning with diamond painting and coffee, it’s my quiet time before the day starts. This is typically the only time I DP each day.
Yes - you and me both!

Yes, you're right. That is a whole other issue...Thankfully I don't struggle with that too much myself, but it can add up.

Hi Marla - so sorry that you're dealing with chronic pain. I'm so happy for you that diamond painting helps you deal with it.
Hi Lisette, excellente manière de planifier, j'aime beaucoup ♥ 🍫
Merci Katarina
The best time for me to diamond paint is in the afternoon. I diamond paint every day exept vacations.
Ook elke dag dus - heerlijk hè?!
@@LisetteCraftsandTells Ja is heel leuk en ontspannen om te doen. Fijn weekend! 💕

Thanks for letting me know you're process Jennifer - I think 5 WIP's will be my personal Max also.

Hi Debbie - yes, I'm going to give that a try myself...can't wait to find out if it works for me LOL
