hey man last year I watched your videos about food in Chinatown NYC and I went to almost every place, my favorite was The IceCream factory. I'm going to LA in 2 weeks and I'm definitely checking out some of these places.
You guys really need to check out gueros tacos in Anaheim and los reyes tacos in Anaheim! Also pho at pho Kim quy in garden grove!!! Best tendon and beef bones I've had and I have to say my (viet) mother in law does get down in the kitchen.
Good job on the video...though not sure why there's confusion on lianpi...regardless of whether it's rice flour or wheat flour the gluten is still washed out prior to serving
Ana Santana of course you dont get it. They sorta referencing the Rush Hour movies and the gangs that run Chinatown (in this case, Hipsters have taken over).
Please come to Melbourne and try the Vietnamese street style food here. There's a big food scene of Vietnamese and Chinese. Dumplings in Melbourne is literally the best type of food that you can ever have
I was hella LAUGHING WHEN I FIRST SAW THIS ONE WAS HELLA FUNNY LOL LUVED IT YO 100 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You talking about Bellaire? Dude that place can go from ghetto hood to hipster in 10 seconds. There's only like 3-5 good fusion places and a small hand full of non-generic authentic food. Also the "Chinatown" part of it is pretty small and it isn't even "Chinatown", it's more like "Little Vietnam"
Depends on where you go, because there are a lot of other places other than the Saigon Houston Plaza. (Dun Huang Plaza) (Diho Square) and (Metropole Center) To add on, there are a lot of markets and dessert cafes that are pretty trendy and also a lot of really authentic "hole in the wall" places. (if you look hard enough) Although it's not the biggest in the US, it is the biggest in the south, so might as well give it a go.
Wow not trying to hate, but those girls had zero energy and didn't drop any food knowledge whatsoever. It was cringeworthy every time the Fung Bros enthusiastically set them up to share their opinions just to see their guests bomb with awkward silences and lazy one word reviews for each thing they tried. usually love Fung Bros Food videos but this was really tough to watch..
I couldn't find Nelson credited in Rush Hour, initially I thought that he was the guy in the picture but turn out it was of an actor named Ken Leung. Can anyone find the scene where Nelson was in?
Haha I live in Chinatown la. Where can I find them? All those shops Fungbros went in weren't there a few years ago as they were Chinese traditional shops that closed down. Sad.
remi ster I was just about to comment about this. They went to Chinatown even though as the name implies they should have at least went to howlin rays and not all the Asian restaurants.
Ken P I mean LA Chinatown has been lost. More hipsters and Vietnamese people. All the rich Chinese have gone to San Gabriel Valley and Diamond Bar areas. You even got Koreans doing the sushi thing.
Be Happiness it's usually a combination of family gathering, red envelope gift giving and going to bhuddist temples or local CNY festivals if their cities have them
Yay! Congrats on getting this video trending!!
FUNG BROS are the best! :D Shout outs to the 2 asian babes!
You need to come to Fort Lee, New Jersey!! Best Asian food and markets in the eastern! I’d be happy to show you around!
Love the skit in the beginning keep up the great work!

Good job on the video...though not sure why there's confusion on lianpi...regardless of whether it's rice flour or wheat flour the gluten is still washed out prior to serving
The skit in the beginning was really cool! Great job as always!
Kaylin Patterson I don't get it and it was kind of boring. Wish they just skipped to the food.
Ana Santana Agree, their skits before food videos used to be more interesting than they do now.
Ana Santana of course you dont get it. They sorta referencing the Rush Hour movies and the gangs that run Chinatown (in this case, Hipsters have taken over).
Ana Carolina Other people got it.

Holy cow! I gotta go there and try them. They really look legit for true Chinese noodles. I didn't know that Chinatown has so many good places.

I'm glad to see a revival in L.A. Chinatown's, but I wasn't expecting Hipsters to bring up a revival of the place. 😀
Oakland chinatown has ice cream rolls :pp and a lot of restaurants/boba places.

Wow not trying to hate, but those girls had zero energy and didn't drop any food knowledge whatsoever. Fook Mi and Fook Yu. lol.
I have cooked that wheat starch noodle and gluten salad, it is a LOT of work but well worth it. No one in my city serves it.

I couldn't find Nelson credited in Rush Hour, initially I thought that he was the guy in the picture but turn out it was of an actor named Ken Leung. Can anyone find the scene where Nelson was in?
ycz04x02 I can't tell if you are being sarcastic, but Nelson wasn't in Rush Hour it was a joke...
I was genuinely interested. Thanks though, I didn't now it was a joke; it didn't sound like it to me.
The Chinatown in Auckland New Zealand is small af... its probably smaller than our average supermarket
You should do the spicy ramen challenge
Heading to LA now for noodles!
I hope you get a chance to try food south of the us border like some Surinamese, Guyanese, Jamaican, Trinidadian and other West Indian foods.
yo scoops is the SHIT-new flavors rotating constantly all made locally; it’s my favorite part of the neighborhood!
Fung bros you guys should come to Chinatown Chicago
