Thank you everyone for watching the video! I'm happy to introduce Japanese places! I always enjoy making videos with Fung Bros. They and their crews are always thinking and caring about their audience and communities and I get inspired by them! Yusuke is also an amazing ukulele player and he's super nice!! Besides all that, I like people who support them. You guys are nice and funny!! yay!!

I watched your video for the first time and loved it!!! I lived in Seattle back in 1992-1995. Maybe you weren’t even born yet. I will continue to watch your videos! Love from Tokyo.
GREAT GREAT JOB! Killed it! I would say that they only 2 institutions you might have overlooked (or just didn't have time / stomach space) were Daikokuya for ramen and Sushi Gen for their lunch specials. I'm not complaining though, you guys killed it! BRAVO!!!!!
I LOOOVE Little Tokyo, especially Japanese Village Plaza! I go there about every other week. I've been to a couple of eateries, one being Shin-Sen Gumi, which is on Central Av (not within the Japanese Village Plaza). They serve tonkotsu ramen, which is the rich, pork stock ramen. Soooo good!!! There's a Yogurtland right next door, that's where I first tried popping boba. Fun! I also enjoy Nijiya Market, and I keep a steady stock of furikake at home from that store. I really love Nijiya Market, cz I can try so many other Japanese goods (natto, mochi candies, candy kits, gyoza, lotus root, Calpico, instant dashi stock, etc). A few blocks away from the Japanese Village Plaza, you'll find Daiso, which is a discount store kind of like a dollar store (most of their stuff costs more than a dollar), but a lot (not all) of their products are better than the American dollar stores. I enjoy so many things in the Japanese Village Plaza, like getting baked treats, drinks, fans, tea sets, parasols, makeup, nail polish, all kind of Japanese little odds & ends. Thank you for featuring Little Tokyo! :)
I love the Japanese culture. The food is my main favorite and the people are just Soo friendly and fun to get to know. Their drama shows are very fun to watch too. Man I want to visit Japan sometime
+Your Anime Otaku Hi, have you thought about Little Tokyo is missing a Torii gate for the entrance to Little Tokyo like if you remember a cartoon show called mucha lucha in one episode have the characters went to Little Tokyo and there was a very tall Torii gate there, but the real life one doesn't, also maybe it needs Japanese looking streetlights too?
I love Japanese food however I never had matcha but I am always up for trying new things so I guess I will try it plus I heard it good for you in so many ways... which is even better
Kai, I was so sad when you left! I am happy for you that you are in LA, you will do better there than here in Hawaii! I was rooting for you to find a GF! Sending you the warmest Aloha and good luck on your Journey!
Can't believe you guys didn't try Match Master next to Men-oh's! Best Matcha Soft serve ever and I never seen a place fully rated 5 stars on Yelp. Midori Matcha has no chance.
I really would love to come to little Tokyo i didn't know that LA had a japan part to it. I want to visit LA before this but now i really really want to visit. Thank you for informing me.
I can't believe you guys went to Little Tokyo and didn't get ramen from Daikokuya! But at the same time I'm kinda glad because I learned about a lot of cool new places. Not a fan of Macha but just might check out those croissants 😱
well another place that i have been to but its been years. its kind like an unoffical japantown is in the honolulu area of Hawaii. dozens of shops, resturants, and other stores, hell they even have a Don Quijote there now. Very big Japanese influance there. just something to think about.
I am so jealous Los Angeles has every single type of food I wanted to bring here in Miami!!!!😉😃 Bring some other food here to Miami or Orlando to any other restaurants please!!!
Thank you so much for doing this video Andrew I enjoyed minute of the video I wanna visit every store in little Tokyo. I've seen stores i didn't even know were located in Little Tokyo and I love Japanese culture. I'm also part Japanese myself so it's worth while. Also thank you Narisa and Yusuke for doing the video it was great. thanks Andrew appreciate everything you do you're my bro and David too haha representing Asian culture.
I just wonder where or when is Little Tokyo going to or have a Torii gate for the entrance and Japanese style lamp streetlights too design with Torii roof on top of them be cool and more in a Akihabara or Asakusa resemblance?
I would love to visit here! Would you recommend going with a friend that speaks Japanese? I always feel nervous going somewhere authentic knowing little about the cultures and traditions.
BreezyBrie its ok with or without a friend that speaks Japanese because people there are aware of tourists and they also speak English and as far as the culture goes you'll learn a thing or two there just by walking into the stores/restaurants and getting into the whole vibe which i highly recommend you go check it out,its worth your time 😁👍
Most of the shops (if not all) have English speaking staff:) You can totally go without a Japanese speaking friend! The community is very warm and welcoming, enjoy your visit~~
Eden Kai sad that you left Terrace House but looks like it was a good decision. I think that short time on Terrace House gave you some recognition and will take you far! Good Luck on your future endeavors!
I'll take Koraku over Suehiro any day, but probably because Suehiro's food is hit or miss and the last time I went my group had terrible service. After such horrible service the waitress followed us outside and yelled at us for not leaving a bigger tip.
YEEEEE!!! I look so nervous lol
Thanks for the collaboration Andrew!!xD
I love terrace house
Lol Yusuke, just can't escape playing the Ukulele. =P
