Burning Wit + Stargazing + Legends (the huge minions you get to pick at the end of each boss) is undeniably overpowered. I lost to the Valdera boss twice but destroyed him with that hero power combo. 0 mana reduce a card by 4 mana is very underrated and if you ever have a chance to pick Stargazing when you have Burning Wit, choose it. You will not be disappointed. Once I even had Coldarra Drake in play and just reduced my entire hand to 0 mana huge minions
It's bad enough how stacked Bae's deck is with cards that exploit the silence effect without it turning half of your own deck into trash arena cards. The Moat Lurker in particular feels so busted after fighting your way through discounted 7/7s and 8/8s.

I actually beat her on Heroic, despite not being good at the game.
I had the Spell Damage +3 passive and had been mostly collecting damaging spells, not minions with effects.

How the actual fuck did this get into the game, did literaly no one test that boss? Same happened to me, twice. That boss just ends your runs in heroic, I dont even want to play a gamemode knowing random chance can make me lose arbitrarily

Have you... have you played against Haro Setting-Sun on heroic? Bao doesn't hold a candle to how insane Haro is. Massively hindering hero power, especially for high tempo decks (the kind that are very strong against most other bosses), which - combined with his health pool - allow him to stall until he starts getting massive resurrection value.
Having done the first 2 chapters with all 3 available classes on heroic, I've beaten him once - and that took getting a pretty early Alexstrasza out so that I could beat him before his ressing got online.
I have played against him and yeah, I had no idea how I was supposed to beat him.
To be fair, I managed to lose against various bosses already, but that might be because I yolo with random class deck and then lose to Linzi Redgrin :D
I had some trouble with Tala Ragestorm and also, that one time I played against Ol' toomba I got rekt (kinda by rng).
Everything on heroic tho. But I agree, Bao is easy compared to Haro.
@@jurajojo2543 This might be misguided - I think I've probably done about 24 runs between the 3 classes and both chapters (maybe a little more, maybe a little less) but out of all the bosses I encountered, Haro was the only one that stood out as very difficult unless you had some sort of stupidly powerful deck (which I never did - the closest I ever came to pulling off that sort of power play on him was the turn ~4 or 5 Alex, which is the only time I beat him).
Every other boss I've encountered felt beatable if I got a good deck. Haro only feels beatable if you get some stupidly powerful stuff.
Faced him once on heroic, he's big priest on some serious steroids. Blizzard rubbing that salt in the wounds of anyone who's requesting for wild nerfs.

I dont know. It's a boss that is more or less unbeatable unless you can get a lot of big bodies out quickly and smash them, making other deck types just get destroyed. While that can be said about other bosses, the silencing effect just makes it worse.
This one skipped heroic and went straight to mythic.
@@Kralitor I honestly cant disagree. The only I fought that even compared was the druid that summons 2 2/2 tenants with taunt a turn.
Just use battlecries, they’re unaffected. Also the minions that start locked in the prisons aren’t silenced
@@erazure. Its hard to get good battlecries on minions with good stats, which is important as from turn 2 to forwards you have to deal with 2 mana 4/5s, 3 mana 4/8s, 4 mana 7/7s and 5 mana 8/8s

Is it weird that I've never had trouble with this particular boss on heroic? Maybe I'm just lucky with what decks I make, but either I just tempo them out with a massive board or a few massive minions, or heck even just blast them down with spells, By the time she pulls out the hydra she's already dead.

It might also be that I'm just picky with what treasures I get, if I know no bucket for my class is going to work with any of the 3 treasure I get, like double battlecrys, triple draws and spells for blood, then I'm just going to concede on the next boss and start over.
Update: Just had my first loss to Bae Chao, but even this time it wasn't even that one sided. We both kept tempoing out the same level of creatures against each other since I had an extra mana crystal. The only reason she won was because I ran out of card in my deck.
At the end “You should consider some better armor!” When if Trump did have armor he could have used his weapon at the beginning and maybe turned it around xD
Was an easy win for me, got the warlock DK hero power as well as spirit of the dragonhawk, giving me massive board control as well as a heal for 9 each turn.
How'd you get spirit of the dragonhawk on the board unsilenced?
Only two bosses that seemed OP to me so far (as in, I had an OP combo and they still destroyed me) were Treant lady, with her 16 face damage protected by constant taunts and a million removal options + Battlecry orc, which triple shuffled candles into my deck and awakened Darkness on turn 5.
All bosses do have some insane combos,but depending on your deck,you don’t get too see that and squash them

It is reminiscent of Naxx or Black rock Mountain with its wings, except the first wing is free, and instead of cards, you get 3 RoS Packs (per wing). However, the gameplay is more like Dungeon Run. You can buy the other 4 wings for $20, or 700 Gold or $7 if you buy each wing individually.
I fell into the trap of picking goggles every time I saw them and have finally come to the conclusion that they are fucking terrible. It'd be a lot different if the cards you keep in your mulligan slide to the left, but all it takes is drawing one high cost card in that left slot make the treasure dead for half the round.

I've faced Bae Cho 3 times in heroic, I've beat her all 3 times.
On the other hand, I have lost once in fight 1.... (I know I was using shaman, I forgot which boss.. Just know that I was out tempoed and out valued)
The key to beating Bea Cho is go early, go wide, go face. You will lose every time if you try to compete with her on board, unless you got some really unfair treasure/anomaly.

It was mostly Trump being greedy and not polymorphing the 4/5 early on. If he did, he might have been able to rush it down

Jesus, she should either be an end-run boss only or make her hero power into only silencing the first minion played each turn. That way she only gets one bullshit cheap minion per turn and you can chuck out a trash minion to get silenced before putting the good stuff out.
It's the kind of boss that you need to specifically prepare for to have a good chance of beating.
I have played heroic many times and I mostly play battlecry shaman so I have never really had problems against the panda. Never thought of her as a threat.
As an added bonus she doesn't silence evolved minions either.

When I first went against this boss I had robes of gaudness with the poison weapon treasure. I also had 2 hexmasters in the deck so overall I had 3 immune poison weapons. It was very easy

Trump and Kripp deserved to win the contest but Trump deserves to get flamed for how he played in this video. MANY bad choices... up to and including the most egregious one taking the +1 +1 weapon instead of the +1 +1 minion buff in his minion heavy deck. AND taking the spells cost health instead of mana in the series before that.
Probably just picking stuff to entertain his chat.
Honestly, their team aren't as fun as Regis ft Toast team on that tournament. I feel like they took it too seriously and makes the jokes running around all of them feel awkward because the saltiness and annoyness vibes.

He forgot something crucial about the health to mana thing, in the tavern brawl you almost always ran out of health
I slaughtered heroic as mage with the health vial. The difference is I got it second and not first. Against the last boss I turn 1 power of creationed into 2x conjurers calling for like 4 lich kings and had lethal on turn 3. "Free" big tempo spells are broken. Even things like Firelands Portal are disgusting.

You should skip the first 6 bosses imo. They're not impossible to lose to but most runs end on the last 2 for me.

The last 3 bosses are mostly a mere matter of luck on any heroic run. If your starting treasure is anything other than excellent, best thing to do is just start over. I managed to barely beat chapter 2 with double Hand of Rafaam (which is actually considered one of the worst treasures), but i'm still struggling with chapter 1. Getting Anarii Duskgrove on round 7 is always a sure loss unless your deck is loaded with powerful aoe or other miracles.

There was an event where streamers competed in challenges related to the Dalaran Heist in teams with cash prizes. Trump was paired with Kripparrian and they were in the lead for most of the event, but at the end, the final round involved going through Chapter 1 in Heroic with them gaining points for each boss defeated, and Kripp lost early on to Bae, letting the team of Disguised Toast and RegisKillbin win. Top prize was $5000 per player, second place was $2500 per player.

I did all the math, and watched turn by turn, if he had polymorphed the first watcher and played more control based, he literally would've won. Play for board control and you win against this boss :/
