Yep I was here in Charleston - fared very well actually. Just branches and debris on the roads but no trees snapped near my home so that was good. Good thing gusts weren't any higher because I had no home insurance at the time. A was a bit worried about that pine tree next to my home!!!
Certainly nothing compared to Hugo in 1989 though. That one (cat 4) snapped most all pine trees in half all the way up the coast.

that must have been poor construction. I had winds no more than 50mph with higher gusts on Saturday when I was storm chasing this thing in a parking lot. Nothing like the 100mph advertised by NHC. The last time we had any real hurricane was Hugo in 1989. Now that was a real hurricane! Nothing real strong since...
