- Here's a video about the furious Hennessey Venom F5 hypercar doing a dynamic demo of its performance on the tight Goodwood hillclimb course during the 2022 Festival of Speed.
The car is powered by a 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, called 'Fury' by Hennessey guys, which is able to produce 1,817 hp at 8,000 rpm and 1,617 Nm of max torque at 5,000 rpm. Kerb weight of the F5 is just 1,385kg. Watch it in action driven by Alex Brundle!

In a straight line it's described as very stable, as a world record contender should be. As far as handling, it has almost 2,000 HP, so yeah.

@@juliansmith-mclallen1784 it’s like a after market turbo times 4. Bugatti is more lower pitched turbo. This sounds way more aggressive like it wants to go fast from the start
I love how the higher revs are from those gorgeous Ferraris, and then the Venom F5 roars with the force to shake your bones. (4:09)
Honestly you’d expect a low redline from such a turbocharged high-displacement engine- but it revs angrily all the way to 8k rpm which might be my favorite part about it aside from it sounding like an old school muscle car at idle. It’s not a screaming V12 at 11k, but it’s like they ripped out satan’s heart and wrapped it in a supercar.
I just love how fast it dashes across the bumpy small road spitting huge flames per shift

It seems like,just like the first Koenigsegg CCX (crashed on Top Gear by the Stig)..this car will need a proper rear wing..it is here all over the place..it needs much more rear down force than right now..

Um no it’s a car focused on top speed. The reason the Chiron doesn’t have those issues is because it weighs 5000lbs and is designed to be a GT car. Not to menu Bugatti had 100x the design budget
it needs more high-speed compression damping and stiffer springs in the rear. supension tuning front vs rear is wonky. it definitely needs a wing as well if you want to turn a corner at any kind of speed

That's a violent beast and I love it.
I remember when the F5 was first announced and a chorus of “fake car” and “it’ll never happen” rained down everywhere on TH-cam. Fast forward a few years later and not only is it very real but it appears to be an absolute demon on the track.
I guess Hennessy needs to put a giant banner on top explaining the performance goals for the car lol.

Forza did a good job on the audio. It's got that whistle sound while in idle low rpm.
They did a meh job. Itstead of it sounding like a american v8 it sounds like a mclaren senna.

Finally seeing it hit corners is amazing. Suspension seems a bit jumpy? Idk, still time to iron out the kinks. But the acceleration is insane.

The Venom F5 (especially the Revolution) is one of my favourite cars ever produced.

For a car that sits so low it looks like it's got loads of wheel travel. It reminds me a lot of WRC cars in the way it moves its weight around in turns and over bumps.

@@clkgtr12 well weight isn't an issue but the downforce, seeing as the F5 is purely for top speed they didn't really care about downforce
