@@GSixFiveFourThreeFourDashTwowell duh, just went and picked up a new deathadder v3 pro because my stock skates on my old deathadder v3 pro were feeling muddy.
Some reviewers described the Glaze as having more static than some other glasspads, you said you feel higher kinetic friction. I know from owning skypad and wallhack that glass pads are quite complicated and, as you said too, skates dependant, but with that being said, do you feel a bit of mud/have trouble with microadjustments on it? Or is it actually higher kinetic indeed that people were feeling? I feel like wallhack is much more natural for me to use in CS since it has much lower static than skypad with similar kinetic, at least that's what they described with numbers and that's how i feel too. It is too fast though and if the static isn't too high, then the Glaze should be perfect for me. Is pulsar superglide basically the same as glaze in terms of speed? Also, you have all the mousepads so you probably have the Npet speedM too (resin pad), that could be my favorite instead of searching for a glasspad, but it just has too low lod for me and its gg. If you haven't tried it, I can recommend, it's interesting. Kinda lower kinetic (still speed pad territory) with very low static
Compared to the skypad 4.0 I would say there is slightly more static on the glaze, I notice the higher dynamic friction more though, especially if I have more controlled skates. I don't ever find it muddy though, has anyone claimed that? I imagine the glaze would feel safer for CS than the 4.0, just given the more locked in feeling and easier ability to stop. Superglide is close speed wise, surface feels are different tho on both on your arm and skates. I didn't like the npet speedm too much when I tried it, might be worth trying again
Have you ever tried Optimum Tech Zeromouse on a Skypad? This shit is like an airhockey table, very fun to play around with but also very difficult to get used to
Would you still recommmened the razer atlas glass pad at this point? I think the in-stock options are the superglide, atlas, and skypad but im not sure what would be best for me. I know the atlas is smaller than the others, but I dont think ill have a problem with that to be honest. Never tried a glass pad before, but i enjoy the speed of the razer strider. Thoughts would be great.
Skates matter the most. For me the Xraypad Jades were a horrible experience. Wore off in weeks and were incredibly scratchy and loud on the Skypad. Also mouse flatness is important too. You want the base to be really leveled. I would advise that you opt for cheaper glasspads with obsidian skates and see how you like it. Dont invest too much unless you know that this is your thing.
Thanks for your honestly. I don't know how much Glsswrks pays some people to remove negative comments from actual consumers who bought the products but the amount of shilling is just wild and unreal, so are the "promises" of it being a massive leap. I got Kazemi and its hardly that different from Skypad 3.0 despite all the nonsense. Just a waste of $ if you already own a glass pad.
@@descai10 Don't think so as i myself had to overpay for it. You overestimate how stupid people are. You can maybe sell it for 150-170 but over that it is a no-no. Scalpers tried selling Yuki Skypads for over 250 and didn't work for obvious reasons.
I agree that the Glaze mousepad is priced very well for how large of a glasspad you are getting and is one of the nicer glasspads I own. The locked in feeling you are getting from the Glaze is to me similar to the Cerapad where you get that buttery smooth tracking that feels locked in. I'm personally thinking going for more and more control pads for glass is the play as more people are comfortable with control and then the idea of glass lasting forever is great.
The selling point is that they dont wear down/last forever. Whether you buy into that or not is a different story. I still recommend artisans/standard cloth over glass to most people
I don't know unfortunately, never tested that. I heard it is a controlled glasspad tho, and it is very cheap but beyond that I cant directly compare them
