My copy of the mouse has such bad side flex (and creaking) that I've put it back in the box. I feel like it is so flimsy that it is going to break from just normal use, after less than a couple weeks. I submitted an email to their support describing my issue on Monday 11/20 and haven't heard a single peep. So... so much for providing fast RMA's.
I feel like, since it's FM, a lot of folks make excuses for them. Like "it must be your first rodeo with FinalMouse, because you believed their advertising." What? That's absurd. lol They get a pass on false advertising and releasing sub-par quality?
What size are you using for the finalmouse ultralight x boardzy? Would it be small or do u prefer medium?

Mine just arrived today, 0 flex or creaking anywhere. The front of the right side panel has a tiny bit of up and down play. Left click is a bit wobbly but not really noticeable in game however it makes it feel less premium. Never used this shape before but I like it except I wish the side buttons were placed a bit further back more towards the center of the mouse for easier clicking since the buttons don't align well with my grip and probably most peoples grips because of how forward they are. The weight distribution is a bit back heavy but probably doesnt matter much when its that light although I would like to mod it to fix front click wobble as well as weight centering to get a more premium experience.

Is the ULX compatible with the skypad? I'm curious because the tape used for the mouse battery gets hair on it , and Idk whether this would impact the mouse's glide on the pad.
How good is the deathadder v3 pro? Not sure if it's worth upgrading to the ULX from that
I use the HTX 4k right now and looking to upgrade to an ULX Small is it good for a relaxed claw palm grip? I have very small hands 17.75 x 9 cm and I did the 60% rule and the measurements are very close to the ULX dimensions. I just don’t know if it’s suitable for that grip style?
Idk if this info is of interest to you, but my ULX is extremely sensitive to WiFi. To the point I thought my unit was broken until I tested it on a PC not next to my router and realized how much interference there was. Never had an issue with Razers, Logitechs, Pulsars at the same distance, but if you use your ULX right next to your router, it will start encountering

Honestly, I feel so called out right now, but I can't be mad at all. Because this is just true.
I was eager to upgrade from my gpro superlight v1.. This mouse really got me excited to change it up. With them not being available and all the QC issues finalmouse.. or as i've learned finalmeme have.. Just picked up a deathadder v3 pro in white instead.
Why death adder v3? I’m about to get a viper v2

I'm actually loving the dav3 with the grips way more than my gpro. I have huge hands.

The side flex was so bad on my unit i could noticeably SQUISH both sides of the mouse in a normal grip, the squeak was also loud enough to be heard through my open back headphones. Finalboy personally told me to RMA, but i did a DIY fix with some B-7000 glue that entirely worked.

Only issue with mine is the adhesive under the battery is a little dumb and the left click side movement, but I never notice it in game so I guess I click pretty straight on and both of the issues were addressed and fixed for the second drop of the medium, if you can afford it I'd get one when you can

Me personally, I had finalmouse products and they’ve never broken on me. Maybe I’m extremely lucky, but I had the Air58 and even clicked the scroll wheel a bunch and it was completely fine. My UL2 is flawless, and those were the mice that got the most hate for QC issues.

Like RJN said, more (less) is better, but it's diminishing gains at this point. I already have the Viper SE and I loved my Air58 until the scroll wheel imploded. So as much as I want the newest thing I think I'll just wait a few batches. My aim will benefit from practice, not another 11 grams off lol.

I use custom dpi in some games, mostly single player games like cyberpunk where there are only single digit sensitivities(no decimals) it’s the same case in some shooters like D2. But usually it’s no problem

The endgame gotta be magnesium for rigidity and feeling. So ULX is a leap but not endgame. I would say Maya is incredible, it is basically VMSE shape, with hump moved a bit to the center and one third of the price. The web software is a big W for FM, hopefully that sets a trend. Watch out for the Tachi.

Magnesium clicks are too rigid, I think Lamzu has a good solution tho
I’ve always wondered if magnesium is the best for hand temperature reasons. The thing I’m using as a wrist rest has a thin metal plate on top and I think its perfect for regulating temperature, since metal is conductive when its hot out the metal feels cold and when its cold out the metal reflects and stores some of the heat lost from the hand.
Some of the other magnesium mice seem to be able to make the clicks work, so I assume the click feel isn’t an inherent flaw of magnesium. I noticed that Razer glues a sheet of magnesium on top of a plastic trigger to retain some of the flexibility of a plastic trigger.

@@Androidonator yea I actually prefer the lightweight app. Web is kind of sketchy because its a huge security flaw for a website to be able to control your mouse/keyboard.
The only reason people hate apps is because the big companies force you to create an account so they can steal and sell your data, and then they force their apps to run 24/7. Its ridiculous. Maybe back in the day it made sense when mice didn’t have onboard memory but every mouse has onboard memory now. The app should not be running 24/7.
Why do you say the RVMSE is not similar at all to the ULX? Could you please elaborate
they appear very similar on elo shapes.
Look at the front sides RMVSE is flatter than the ULX. ULX flares more at the front than the RVMSE. Also, the RVMSE has a higher hump profile than the ULX. In short, two of them will still feel like a different shape even if the measurements are closer to each other.
How do you keep mice with holes clean?

This was very shocking... I am shocked! Jokes aside, thanks for the review! I've seen a lot of people complaining about some things, but most of the QC issues seem pretty minor for the weight and performance of the mouse. Maybe I'll feel differently if I get my copy on batch 2, but overall it looks like an incredible mouse. Definitely getting one if I can!

Nope common misconception , on 3370 mice with software based motion sync it was around 1ms but that isn’t the case here

I used ul2 for 1.5 years and now sl-12 phantom small for nearly 2 hours. Honestly I think my endgame would be an exact shape clone but full body with rlly good switches and specs around like a 55 gram range. Like a gpx 2 but sl12 small clone or something

I use custom dpi setting all close to my normal setting, and it does help me if I am playing on a laggy sever or if it feels my aim is too fast or over shooting

Just don’t agree about the HTX shape. I’ve been using and loving it and I have large hands like you. Never was a fingertip user but am becoming one because of HTX. Like a lot more than the v2 mini. Haven’t tried the ULX yet.
The only reason I don't want this mouse is because I've been using 1100 dpi since 2013 on default sensitivity in every game. I am used to it so its a shame they don't use custom dpi.
