My two hours lecture about this was nowhere as helpful as this video, thanks!
This is the best explanation I have seen so far!!!
Without a doubt! This channel is so underrated! I've included this channel in a Top 10 Biomedical TH-cam channels video because it very well deserves it to the max!
This is a very complicated mechanism that you get to see in 2 pictures in books. Thank you for making it very very dynamic and easy to understand! Now I can totally understand the silly diagram I had in my book
5*
I have no words to say how grateful I am for all your videos! I am an online student and sometimes this information in books is really difficult to understand. SO happy I found you. THANK YOU!
you explain things better than the professors at my school. I mean we have really good professors but sometimes hearing someone else explain it in a different way helps. It went over my head in class, glad my professor posted this video on blackboard.
Can someone give this Prof a hug on my behalf 🤗the best teaching I have ever experienced. My 2hr lesson explained in a minute. Thank you sir
This was absolutely amazing and extremely clear. Thank you so much for making this video. No guess work here and no trickery!
I love the animation og especially explanation in the end on how myosin continously pulls actin. I always thought it was only one pull, but this makes so much more sense now! Thank you sir, I wish you a very good day
Ive always loved learning how our body works on a molecular level and up. It is amazing what our bodies can do.
The Best Video of cross-bridge cycle. I am gonna share it with my professor for next year's students.
when ADP dissociates.. that's a whole mood. i felt it in my soul
Very well explained from start to finish...The animations make everything more easier to understand🙏🙏
What an awesome use of technology! The animations make it so easy to understand.
superb i understood the total mechanism very clearly. I was totally worried about this topic at every minute. You saved me a lot
Thank you so much for the most perfect explanation that I've ever seen!

Literally the best video in explaining this theory… thanks!
Thank you so much you have really helped me to understand this process.😊
It helped me a lot in clearing my concepts .ty💜
Excellent description Sr. Thanks!

amazing video..thanks so mucj
Wonderfully amazing
thank you so much! It's very interesting!
❤️ loved it
You're a fantastic teacher
Insane to think that all these steps and much more from, conscious thought to neurone action potencials being transferred throughout a whole neurone to the musculature, all the Na and Ca and K transportations, then Calcium being released from SR, then Calcium binding to Troponin, then it rotating, then Myosin binding to Actin, then the whole ATP-cycle, then all these ADP+Pi cycles and so on and so on.
--
All this happening several times with just one Myosin for a single contraction withing 0.2 milliseconds?? Insane.
this is a really good video... thanks a lot!!!
the greatest explanation
Thanks alot for the amazing help!
Am I the only one Brown away by the visuals? I want more!
Great choice of visuals. Thank you! Also I like your choice of bird calls for background music. How about waterfall noises and beta waves next time?
Thank you so much for explaining the crossbridge cycle of the muscle I understand so much more :)
No problem!
really help me a lot thank you
this is soooo helpful! thank you
Wonderful video!
Thank you!
tnx u explain it very easy for us
omygoodness! so helpful thank you so much.

Clearly understood..thank you
Awesome video.
thank you
thanks is very helpful
Thanks man
Excellent. Just a note it's not the myosin that "contracts" so much as the components of the sarcomere that are brought closer together.
wow, this was great explanation!
This Is Really Helpful......., Thankyou so Much

Very impressive!

now i fucking understand the shit they gave us in university thank you very much
where are you from
Can you take a few minutes and try to answer my question: If a person
wants to throw a football, that person will grip the ball and then bend
his right (or left) arm, bend the arm backwards, and finally release
and throw the ball. the bending action is supposed to accumulate power
for the throw. Can you explain this in the same kind of language you
used to explain how muscles work?
When the arm bends back it, the muscles such as subscapularis, triceps brachii, etc. are stretched, which causes buildup up potential energy at the microscopic muscles. Literally, the elastic parts of the tissue are stretched, which builds up potential energy. On the throw, the muscle activate as normal. Also the built up potential energy is converted to kinetic energy and added to the force produced by the muscle: a greater overall force. This only works when the motion is fast, like a throw. It is essentially plyometrics.
