    Great explanation of this concept. His lectures are now a staple in my nursing school journey! Never underestimate a good drawing or diagram, I really love his animated explanations as well as being able to follow along with his diagrams. Extremely helpful. Also, I will forever pronounce it “skuh-leetal” muscle in my American classes from now on 😁

    Kudos to such wonderful teacher. I m a Vet doctor, but due to some reason i couldn't understand this whole function during my entire college , i have read this in medicine, physiology, anatomy and many other para clinic subjects, but never really understood. But with this 13 mins, video i understood very easily

    You are an awesome teacher. You simplify something difficult into simplicity. I am a veterinary technician and certified veterinary chiropractic practitioner and taking a dry needling class. You make my class easier to understand the verbiage barrier to an easier explanation

    What an amazing video. Your thorough explanation was easily understandable. You took each step apart piece by piece, little by little. I love how you didn't start out with a complete diagram and worked it as you went. I really can say I understand the neuromuscular junction now.     Currently taking this course hopefully soon for essay exam on NMJ and this one you just nailed it come on awesome awesome my professor with two hour lectures on this made it impossible to make sense but you really made it very senseful in the way you presented yourself to the subject and to you are my best educator keep up fantastic!!!

    Good. You're giving the total story here. (Watched few videos which didn't tell about Ca ions getting the neuro transmitter vesicles open. They only said action potential come and vesicles open. )
    So very good.

    Voltage gated sodium channel opens up in response to electrical signals and diffuses in. Calcium moves into neurons. Calcium allows vesicles of neurotransmitters (acetylcholine) to form & neurotransmitters are fused with membrane and released thru exocytosis.
