@@hufranklin9925 Yeah THAT was genius! The other two following SFs just KNEW that the two faster times that went on to the final had to already be in heat 1.
This meant that NONE of the stars could slouch it in their SFs as they HAD to be 1st/2nd or out.
And that became the truth - 12.50 was the slowest time to qualify for the F (and both those times came from this insane WR SF heat 1)

We will rise and be great again, this shall be the sign that there's still hope for us all in Nigeria. There's always light at the end of the tunnel only if we as a nation stands as one and persevere to walk the tunnel. God willing, our days of tribulation are over.
Youths should wisen up this forthcoming election and put aside religion and tribe differences and join hands together to kick out these old bad leaders once and for good. Let's take back our nation and make it great again. Arise O! compatriots Nigeria calls, obey.

This final had the greatest competitors based on current form. Camacho-Quinn ranked 1, Amusan 2, Harrison 3, Charlton 6, Anderson 7, Williams 8 and Sember 9. Only Armstrong 24 is outside current top 9. The final had the previous world record holder, current world record holder, area bests, national bests, Olympic champion, former world champion.
That was a 100mH GOAT final. It's too bad that the wind reading denied what would have been a phenomenal new world record for Tobi Amusan and new national bests for Jamaica, etc

      1. Amusan has "only" set 1 world record - 12.12 seconds, in the semifinal of the athletics world championships 2022!
      2. The commentators got it all unacceptably wrong when the dilettantes forgot about the wind for many minutes before they realised that there was a too strong tailwind for record recognition!

I can only pray this will inspire our politicians to invest more in our young talents so they can get to their ultimate best. Congrats Tobi.
