@johnlebzelter4208 Yeah, it happened to pop up on me. Trolling isn't about how quickly a comment is posted. It's about the snarky, unfriendly, sometimes nasty content and responses. You know, the stuff you mostly write. 🤷🤭🤦
@@todd2456🤷🤔🤭 Afraid he's a lost case. I feel sorry for folks who don't feel happiness in their life, but I don't tolerate trolls and nastiness towards others. For a long time I just ignored him. Maybe that's the best approach after all?
Those big multi pane picture windows don't rack at all like a framed window. Tommy mentioned the sill was level, the only thing you can do with those windows is shim the bottom to level. ROs need to be as perfect as possible, not like a regular window where you have some wiggle room.
Let me see if i understand the process. So you seal the frame with flashing tape and the other sealer tape. After that you are adding those 1/4” spacers…. So everything you sealed previously is useless since you just introduced a bunch of gaps. After all of this is well “done” you have someone coming with foam…. Hoping to fill all the space created between the frame and the window? Did I missed anything? How this makes any sense? For me is not making any sense. Can someone please explain to me what i’m missing here?
Flashing tape protects the wood from moisture. Good luck framing an opening that is an exact fit to your window. Gap eases installation, allows movement, and is air sealed and thermally broken with the expanding foam.
Tommy is the man.
Like the way you and your brother work together with each other. 💪💪💪
Would have been nice to have a 1 minute time lapse of the rest going into place so we could see "the look" of the finished product.
It's a tv show not a tiktok
@@simonmarx34 I guess you have never seen them do any editing over the decades. I know it's been done on some full length shows.
how do they attach the outside flange to the brick. Need longer vids with more details TOH
I wonder if John is as mean to the residents at the masonic villages.
Nice heavy windows. No checking plumb and square before screwing thru the shims? Or no worry on a fixed pane?
You think I troll? My God the video was posted 6 minutes ago and you’re already commenting. Who is the real troll here?

two panes of glass? triple pane windows are still a big unknown in usa :)
Where do you live? I like the German designed and built windows.

Part of it is for any water to drain.
