She DID let all of those women down, by falsely accusing someone of physical and sexual abuse.
But we ALL know , and HE especially knows , it wasn’t a false accusation . She had abundant evidence , & even if she had been murdered by him his knuckle dragging fans would still blame her for “making him do it “ . A total circus and complete travesty of justice . the thing is if she's appealing b'coz her evidences were suppressed, then they should let her appeal so we can also hear the audios from Johnny's side which were suppressed too including the one that she admitted to throw a bottle and severe his finger. she's literally just causing herself more problems.
Amber Turd only let down fakers like herself.
Her own evidence showed she is a manipulator and a liar. Tipping off TMZ to her divorce filing and lying about it. Recording her husband banging some cabinets than a few hours later the recording ends up on TMZ with ownership of copyright and claiming she has no idea how it got released. These actions alone doesn’t scream a victim of constant abuse afraid of her abuser.
wht annoyed me most was the emphasis on women as if to say that men cant be victims of abuse. we women are not always truthful as was clearly proven by the case.
As a UK resident, I am appalled at the " bias" , in my opinion, the judge showed. I have signed a petition to have the UK trial investigated.

I watched the trial on "That Umbrella Guy". TH-cam.He made some very good points during the whole trial.Her Lawyers we're even trying to get him shut down.😂😂😂
I'm a nurse and I'm appalled too. I don't know much about laws that govern this but, I know a liar and sore loser when I see them.
She's just as demented as her client. I wouldn't be very surprise if Elaine and AH made a team to appeal, even if it wasn't in their best interest. They don't seem very capable of using REASON imo
Usually accusing someone of their intentions behind their actions (15 minutes of Fame), means the person accusing is the person guilty... Elaine just can't let go of her small fame.
Dr. Hughes has a history of being on TV, and she wanted to reclaim her 15 minutes of fame.
Dr. Spiegel sought his 15 minutes in a very negative way...

It occurred to me also that Elaine is actively defaming JD. She is platforming a false narrative directly after it was completely rejected.
Doesn't matter. The social media she is trying to convince of her lies isn't about to change their verdict. She's a psychotic narcissist who likely had total elimination of Johnny on her mind. Gift him a big knife and then use it against him claiming she wrestled it from his grasp....... You can fill in the blank.
I think after the trial, it doesn't matter what she says, because Elaine looked so incompetent that I was almost embarrassed for her.
This is really funny, because I’m almost a year in the future and the way that the appeal worked for each side is that Depp’s team essentially got the publicity win while Heard’s team had the entire award they owed forfeited and retained her ability to tell her side of things without future defamation claims.
Keep in mind that one of the actual *jurors* said in an interview that “Truthfully, we think they both abused each other.”
So, Bredehoft definitely was never vulnerable to this claim… Even if she completely flopped during most crucial moments of testimony.
I love how she apologized to women specifically and not just victims of abuse in general. Really shows she's more about men vs women as opposed to victim vs abuser.

One important point in the UK trial, which Elaine seems to "conveniently" forget, is that since Amber wasn't a party to the case, she didn't have to go through discovery (or disclosure as they call it in the UK). Johnny's team asked the judge for a motion to force her into discovery, but the motion was rejected. So, in point of fact, MORE evidence was presented in the US trial since Amber actually had to go through discovery. The Sun had to go through discovery but they didn't have much on Amber, to begin with.
Furthermore, the judge of the UK trial, in his ruling (which is 130+ pages long) discounted all audio files presented because (and I'm paraphrasing here) "they were not sworn statements in court and their validity was suspect". So, all the audio recordings? He threw them all out. He also discounted testimonies by people Amber paid to lie in official papers (mostly related to the Australian dog smuggling case) since they had lied on official papers, ignoring the fact that they had provided payment receipts showing Amber PAYING them to falsify official documents. So, the judge believed people saying Amber told them to falsify official documents weren't reliable since they had falsified documents but that Amber was reliable despite the fact that there was evidence SHE had asked them to falsify the documents.
All in All, the UK case was the result of an old judge (maybe, probably, with conflict of interest), deciding to believe Amber over everyone else while also preventing Amber from having to disclose evidence.

I watched a lawyer/barrister from the UK talk about the UK ruling, and he was fairly shocked by the judge throwing out the audio recordings. He also said that getting an appeal in the UK is very difficult.
Seriously, that judge should have excused himself because his own son worked for the company that owns the sun.

It's so absurd that Elaine claims they lost because of Johnny Depp's celebrity status. She just spent 6 weeks saying that Amber deserves $100 million because she was so set in Hollywood and her career was skyrocketing. Which is it, Elaine? You can't have it both ways.
Either she is also a celebrity who's career was worth MORE than Johnny Depp's, or you lost the case because of JD's celebrity status, and every claim that was made in court about Amber's booming career and huge damages was BS.

I was was shocked seeing Elaine Bredehoft appear on talk shows. I honestly expected her to go into damage control to save her career. Distancing herself from Amber Heard should have been number one on her list. Number two should have been: How can I gain trust as a credible competent attorney that someone would hire after defending Amber Heard.
As a survivor, getting our stories out is VERY important. I am damn glad the trial was televised. The general public needed to see the lengths an abuser will go to in order to maintain control. We see our abusers in Amber Heard. Johnny Depp winning felt like we were seen, and our stories were heard. Amber using our experiences for her own personal gain will not be forgotten any time soon. She's a horrible, despicable human being. I cried with relief as the verdict was read. #truthwins

I am super happy with the verdict, but IT'S TRUE that from now on, male abusers will play the Amber card to mute their partners.

As a mother of a sweet, kind and generous son… my worry is he will end up with a woman like Amber and no one will believe him! Televising this trial has highlighted that men can be the victims too and their abusers will go to great lengths to use whatever disgusting powers to continue that abuse!

The biggest insult of all this is she keeps referring to “all women” and herself as a symbol of DV victims and “women”. Every woman I’ve met in real life- not online bots or the very small, blind, gullible minority- thinks she is grotesque. The charade is a damn insult to people’s intelligence at this point. Every woman I know who has been following the trial at all is infuriated at her. ESPECIALLY the women who have been the victim of domestic abuse. The few women who actually support her are perfect examples of toxic femininity. I thought toxic femininity was a myth but after 2 men I personally know had their lives ruined by false accusations and AH almost ruining Johnny Depp, it is as real as toxic masculinity. My dad used to beat my mom and I was being triggered left and right BY HER. I WISH AH would face charges.

That’s what I said when I saw her doing an interview the very next day. Everyone concerned is full of stress hormones and exhausted. She’s in no condition to use good judgment. She should have been home eating, sleeping, and exercising.

If the jury followed their instructions, and we have no reason to assume that they didn’t, the only person that brought social media into the courtroom was Team Amber. Their analysis of the hashtag movement exposed the jury to what was going on, not the other way around.

Really like your take on this one. Elaine doing multiple interviews using the same lines seems really unprofessional. She takes no responsibility for the loss, and keeps claiming "mountains" of evidence was left out. I like how she also keeps mentioning the UK trial, but never tells anyone that in the UK trial Amber Heard wasn't a defendant. I think at this point Elaine cares more about fixing her tarnished image as an attorney than she does for her own client. "The first thing she told me is I'm so sorry for all these women", bullshit. That's such a PR line.

On cross of the tech. " expert " he stated two pictures were they same and not altered. That just because the picture was in photoshop does mean it was altered. But the 2 pics were different colors so clearly one was the original and the other an altered copy. The pictures were taken the same time down to the second. All of Amber's witnesses perjured themselves. It was shocking to see "expert" witnesses openly and obviously lying. So these people just go from trial to trial and lie for whomever pays them?

Elaine was dreadful- especially on her runaway train delivery of the closing argument. Amber was completely unsympathetic because she was clearly lying, exaggerating and was snarky and insolent on the stand.
The only messages this trail sends is that men can be victims too ( something I know well from almost 30 yrs working in DV!) and that women who lie won’t automatically be believed- nor should they!
Elaine has a bright future ahead of her either working for CNN or the Democratic Committee.
Here’s the thing tho..it’s the women who are married to men like Amber who are the ones that aren’t believed, the ones the police send away when reporting threats made against them/ stalking behaviour and are told to come back they do actually do something, and then they do something alright and the police are investigating a homicide. The point to be made here is that Amber’s personality type is genderless and it’s the victims of these very clever, very manipulative, very dishonest, very charismatic when they want to be people who really struggle to be believed and find closure. I think I would be fair in saying that getting away from them and having nothing more to do with them, ever, is a pretty good indicator of who is the aggressor and who just wants a peaceful life.

Considering she's been diagnosed with comorbid personality disorders within the same Cluster, its not a stretch (as was seen in her actions and testimony) to assume she has traits of NPD and maybe even full blown NPD..

The message that has been sent is: those who have been abused - can win. My grandmother was horrible to my grandfather. I'm a woman - and never so naive as to think women can't be abusers.
My Mum could be very nasty to my Dad sometimes, it used to really upset me with the nasty names she called him. He was very deaf as he had mastoids as a child and she'd call him "oi, deafy" when he couldn't hear her. She wasn't physically violent only using words. He worked long hours in a factory getting up at 5 a.m. and not coming home until sometimes at 10 p.m. doing overtime to buy Birthday and Christmas presents for myself and my sister and to pay the mortgage. He was a very kind Dad to both of us and would take us out shopping on a Saturday to get our comics and sweets so to hear my Mother abuse him was very upsetting. They both died over 20 yeas ago but the memories have stayed with me.
Most insurance companies don't pay if the client was found to have done malice as a verdict. The vice president of the insurance company was smiling and happy if you look at her. The cap is what the policy holder paid for.

This wasn't a let down. This was for all those victims who have been gaslighted and stigmatized as the perpetrator. Men and women can be victims. They start to question their own sanity and memories. As a survivor of DV and SA this was a win in my book. I immediately knew watching her testify.
But non of the media except Fox recognizes male victims. All the rest of the media covers for women liars. And will never admit men can be victims. Look how the media now claims Johnny is abusing Amber by defending himself. Not just her but he's abusing all women by defending himself. This is how horrible the media has become they literally demonize a man for defending himself.
what's so terrible is that we're now watching gaslighting on a global level by the media. It's actually insane how almost every single publication is trying to spin this as "disregard all evidence and facts, justice and truth don't matter, what the jury thought doesn't matter, the fact that Heard's story was blatant lies full of holes doesn't matter, blaming an innocent (male) abuser victim doesn't matter, only what's perceived as good for women's movements matter, so Heard must be right."

I am not from the US, and I was absolutely dumbfounded when I saw this interwiew. That she, as the lawyer of Amber Heard, was allowed to sit and slander Depp like this? I mean, there was a verdict! By all means, give a short statment that you are disapointed and that you will make an appeal, but the rest…!

1- She cannot sue Johnny for the same lawsuit (defamation case) in any state of US.
2- If she wants to appeal the case, by the Virginia law, she must pay the $8.350.000 to Johnny first then do the appeal process which as Elaine said, she cannot pay the money, because she's broke as f.
Pretty sure She has to pay the full amount as does JD to the court. There will be an appeal or they will cut a deal to pay less money.
Not necessarily pay, but post a bond (prove the ability to pay or get a bank willing to issue a letter saying they will back the amount in the amount of $8.35 mil + attorney fees.)

What Elaine and Amber fail to comprehend is that it was Amber being caught in lie after lie that caused her to lose. Elaine and team allowed the exact same photo to be entered into evidence as different photos a couple of times -in one instance, the same photo for incidents that occurred 6 months apart! Elaine also should have advised her client to stop making outrageous claims of horrific violence that would land anyone in the hospital - if not the morgue. A small bruise on a cheek is NOT how someone would look if they had been repeatedly punched in the face.
....with hands that had rings on every finger. AH's face would have been cut to ribbons. She is a psychopath who deservedly lost the case.
I've always thought if Amber's recount of the assault is not as over-the-top and shocking, which might be intended to get the jury's sympathy, it would have been more believable. "He pushed me, as he often does, made me fell and bruised my arms" versus "He punched me repeatedly on my face so much that I lost count" knowing she doesn't have an evidence to back that up, makes her case fell flat.

Remember that Heard has hired a PR firm to manage the optics of her case - they're likely telling them these media appearances are doing more harm than good and to stop doing them. I suspect this appeal will never actually happen - if she appeals she has to put the ~$8 on the table ready to be claimed by Depp should her appeal fail like it almost certainly would. I suspect Heard would much rather not appeal it at all and simply say she is going to and then hope everybody forgets about it, while she tries to hide her money all over town and gives expensive "gifts" to friends and family and stuff.

This is what a narcissist does when they can no longer humiliate and abuse the person they are fixated on, who gets out from under their control. Photo shopped pictures from her phone, no medical records to back up any injuries, independent people, even cops, not seeing any bruising, non-photo shopped pictures showing her a day or two after the supposed incidents, with no bruising or swelling at all, and edited recordings she did as a setup, are not a mountain of evidence!
I also doubt that her homeowner's liability insurance is going to cover her defense costs, as most policies have an exclusion if it's determined the insured is found to be at fault. The fact that the jury found her actions were done with malice should give the insurance company the ability to deny her claim, which means she'll owe much more than just what she'll been ordered to pay JD.
To a narcissist, losing is actually like throwing down a gauntlet and spurs them on to attain their ultimate goal, which is complete annihilation of the "offending" person. Amber doesn’t stand for me as a serious abuse survivor, he smashed my lower back over and over again, I had an operation that recently fell apart, I can’t stand for more than half an hour. I could feel her lack of connection that only survivors can connect to. It doesn’t mean I don’t have empathy for Amber the only time I felt her being genuine was her testimony of her childhood which showed how unprotected she felt and was by her father, I hope she gets help in the future and ends up having a happy life and I am happy JD got his life back and his name is cleared for his children , family and friends .

AH was spending nearly $22K on wine per month and staying in rented apartment for $22.5K/M. Her fate in the Defamation trial is sealed. She cannot escape it. She couldn't file bankruptcy on the ground that jury held its wilful malice on AH's part to publish the article in WP to defame JD.
Amber rented a 13,000 sq ft home not an apartment in McLean, Va. It has 8 bedrooms, a tennis court, a theater, a spa, and a swimming pool. You can view the home online. The gravy train is now up for her.

You can see how broken the system is, when pretty much everyone was on Johnny’s side, but most people still expected Heard to win and the verdict was a shock.. clearly also based on the reaction of media.. mad!
Yeah, it was pretty insane. I didn't really follow the trial until it was in the final weeks but while I was hoping to see justice for JD; I really did not expect him to actually win (on all counts!). Especially considering how he was treated in the UK with AH just lying about donating all the money to charity (which was a big fat lie under oath). The justice system is so twisted these days and DV cases are always looking to men as the culprits but the outcome of this trial really gave me some sliver of hope that there still was some justice left in the world.
People would have been much more shocked had the jury believed Heard. No, the system is not broken. The liar lost.

In a couple other TH-cam Lawyers videos, they talked about the "mountains of evidence" in the UK trial. They are basically Amber's statements to her therapists (not medical doctors) and text messages sent to JD by his friends. In other word's: hearsay much?

For me it was the "mountain of evidence" that actually made me turn against Amber. Amber took audio logs, photos, and videos of so many things yet critical detail photos and photos of her injury were few. Of those photos showing her injuries some didn't match the injuries that would've been sustained by the event and others we were given photos from the day before and after that don't show the bruises. After watching several videos of people covering bruises you can lessen it but it is still visible or you need to apply so much that it is obvious that you are wearing makeup. This also doesn't account for the swelling and cuts she would have sustained from the injuries too.
It is hard to cover an acne breakout let alone bruises and swelling. Complete nonsense.
I broke my nose in a fall several years ago and I can testify that no amount of makeup could hide the bruising I sustained from that fall. While the swelling was gone, my bruises were still very apparent three weeks after my fall. Plus, how does Amber account for the huge rings that she herself testified that Johnny wore every day. Those rings would have acted like brass knuckles if he pummeled her and she would have had to seek medical attention for that kind of injury. Her testimony was pure fiction and not supported by any evidence.

Not to mention that two photos of separate incidents turned out to be the exact same photo! Hard to say you are not lying when you enter the same photo into evidence twice.

The fact that she says having cameras in the courtroom is a problem says everything about her. She is pathetic.
If anything the media response after the verdict even to this day would be the best reason going forward to argue cameras are a necessity to know the truth.
Well it does work to her detriment. Remember all the media except Fox lies in favor of women. So Heards legal team would control all the publicity released during the trial. Amber even if she lost would have won in the court of public opinion. Everyone would believe they're spin on Depp winning cause he's more powerful, because that's all they would hear. As we know now because of the cameras in the court , everything we heard in the press was a lie.
Aparently, ELAAAAINNNE (Thanks, EDB) doesn't think transparency in our judicial system should be a thing. I'd like for the feds to allow them. This case wasn't just about rich people and it wasn't just a case on domestic abuse and defamation. It was very educational. It gave us all the oportunity to watch a trial from beginning to end and how it is all supposed to work.
Especially since her client is the one that made this public in the first place.

I'm curious whether Elaine Bredehoft would be able to even do law anymore. She lost all her credibility by being on the news. Unlike Benjamin Rottenborn his name might be forgotten over time and he can do law again. The only thing he had lost is his competence as a lawyer. Elaine lost more by 1 being a sore loser, 2 her Karen speech, 3 being a broken recorder, 4 being an incompetent lawyer, 5 loss of credibility. There might be more but that is what I can see.
