I'm glad these obscure gems keep popping up on my feed. The full-isometric take's a pretty unique one, as well. Honestly, we need the arcade-style beat-'em-up to make a comeback; it feels like the River City series is the only one with the guts to keep trying, anymore. You could seriously make bank from the online coop potential alone.

Thanks to that trick I played for hours for cheap. If you ever play this game, don't throw away the candelabra on the table at the beginning, it allows you to use special moves.

Odd thing is to this day emulation of this game uses a lot of processing power. Attempt to put it on a weaker system, such as hacking it onto a Nintendo mini, and it will lag at a rate that makes it unplayable. Neither Mame nor Fireburn seem to handle it in a streamlined manner.
"saving myself" that princess 1:10:42 sure is full of herself. She supposed to die at 1:11:09 but plot armor saver her life. About final fight I am amazed that a lackey did more than the final boss and killed you!
Huh, the evil knight was his father? That does not come up if you play the other characters, interesting. Though this paladin dude is unflappable, he just killed his mind-controlled father who with his dying words gives him his sword, and he just says "OK father"
THis as an arcade would have been ridiculously expensive. 1 minute to do most levels, and the game even nags you to hurry up... hated such time constraints.

this would be fun on mame or some other emulator for the save states but i couldn’t imagine playing this game without saves.
It's not a long game, so you wouldn't need save states at all.
