I bought it when It came out and I have to say the truth, I have never, ever, regret my decision. The boots are awesome, as a striker I’ve scored countless goals for the clubs I played in Las Vegas. For me the downside is the protection, at almost every game I got stepped on and it hurt quite a lot. I need a shoe similar to this one but maybe a bit more protection if anyone can recommend any
I personally prefer wearing leather boots when it's wet. I'd say it's more of a preference thing rather than a case of one specific style of boot being best in the rain.
